It takes a lot to get a one star review but they earned it and I'm glad to see others share in this opinion. If you are from the Midwest and thinking this is going to be another convenient option when Culvers is busy or too far out of the way, think again. Food was crazy expensive for what it is. The service was awful, slow, and disorganized. The staff was almost all high schoolers from the looks of it and clearly had no clue what to do with themselves. It took half an hour to get a small order outside of rush hour on a week day, it was requested that the ice-cream comes with the meal but they made it right away and it was mostly WARM by the time we got it with our food a half hour later. The idea of reading out peoples orders being ready over the microphone when the building is small enough that you could just talk to the people is stupid and obnoxious. Between that and the fact that they have the music at level 100 and then try to yell into the mic to talk over it, combined with the dirty and dingy interior of the building, especially for being a BRAND NEW building was crazy. The food was low quality in general, fries were burnt and dried out to where you could snap them, ice-cream had no flavor and there was almost no strawberries in it, the fruit they used looked spoiled as the shake came out grey instead of pink or reddish like a strawberry shake should. The burger was awful, similar concept to culvers but twice the grease and non of the flavor. It was also borderline disgraceful to taste cheese that bad on a burger in WISCONSIN of all places. Not to mention the fact that it was specified to not put certain ingredients on the burger and yet all the things that were clearly asked to not be on it, were present. The burgers were great. We had a Freddy’s original and a Grilled Cheese Steakburger. Both were super tasty and cooked perfectly. The fries were very bland and had a lot of other food particles mixed in with them. Most likely other foods/fries from a dirty deep fryer. Other than the burgers being great, no other food stood out as worthy of a return visit.
The man expediting at the food pick up counter was super friendly and working hard. No other comments on service.
The worst part was how dirty the entire place was. From the moment we walked in the front door we noticed garbage all over the floors. Food wrappers, fries, random other things we’re everywhere. The empty tables were about 50/50 for being cleaned. Some we could tell were sticky. The white tiles of the floors were black in some areas from not being cleaned. The soda/condiment counter was the dirtiest of all. There was so much grime on the soda machine in places there shouldn’t have been anything. There was ketchup smeared everywhere, including on the soda machine & floor. There was a brown dried substance all over the sugar packets.
We understand things can get dirty throughout the day—especially if it’s busy. But this level of filth was not from one shift or one day of non cleaning (and it wasn’t busy when we were there for lunch). This was days and days of built up dirt, grime, food, etc. There were a lot of workers in the kitchen and front counter. There is no reason one of them couldn’t be cleaning the dining room area.

Read moreWas very excited to go to Freddy's again. This was a favorite stop while on a trip in Colorado a couple years ago. I decided to order online while we were finishing up at Costco. When I ordered it gave me an estimate between 9-14 minutes for 2 burgers and an order of fries. Short trip from Costco and we found out that you have to walk in to pickup. Not a big deal if there are parking spaces. I walked in and saw my drink and sauce cup waiting in the pick up area. I decided to sit and wait until the rest arrived. After about 10 minutes and 2 staff checking my ticket I waited in the long line at the counter to see when it would be done. The only answer I received was that it wasn't done and a shrug of his shoulders. I stepped to the side and waited for another 20 minutes while more people ordered and got their food. During this time 2 more staff checked my ticket and did nothing about it. When it slowed down they moved things around with no purpose to look busy and avoid my gaze. Finally I went and told them to either give me my food or refund it. (30 min after I arrived). Finally went and looked by the area where dine in customers pick up their food and magically found my bag. Got to the car and found that the order was wrong....
