WOW. This was one of those times where the second you put the food in your mouth, you know something is different. And in the best way. The burger tastes so fresh like they pattied it right at my order - like when i homemake burgers and add some egg and breadcrumbs and go juicy meatloaf style. One of the few burgers that you actually taste seasoning throughout the meat - like a mixture of worchestsire and minced onion. Yum. I just did plain double. I enjoyed the unseasoned fries, my housemate loved the seasoned ones. Comical names for everything and crushed patties drew us in, but it really was fantastic enough to seek out my phone and write a review same day. Hope they stick around, will be ordering again.
Editing to add that the concept of virtual kitchens is wild and I just went on a 20 minute rabbit hole because we realized the youtuber star who has a skin in fall guys (why it was relevant to me) had set up "virtual kitchens"--- but the food is real! We had to look up a whole concept and now i kond of just want to know what existing kitchen just did it up so good!! Like whether it is a restraunt that also has adopted this or a reopening of a closed down space - what workers do I thank??? "Ghost kitchens" oooooo thank...
Read moreTL;DR: Better than the average drive-through burger, not as good as the best (institutions like In 'n' Out) or fast casual joints like Five Guys.
MrBeast Burger is fascinating! It reminds me of a parody tribute movie, like Scream or Galaxy Quest, where they find fun ways to cram in as many references as possible to the best of the genre. It's never going to be as good as Friday the 13th or Star Trek, but you'll have fun reminiscing and laugh a little along the way.
The toppings on their fries mimic Animal style from In & Out without quite reaching the mark. Same can be said for the crinkle cut (Shake Shack) and the sauce and topping choices (Five Guys). They even have a Nashville Hot Chicken option, lest they overlook a style to parody.
The food is mediocre, but not in a "never eat here" way. If you were planning to Door Dash McDonalds or Burger King, this is definitely a step up. There's a lot more beef on the burger and the patty looks hand-formed, plus the fries taste better when delivered. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced burger that tastes indulgent and is consistent, you're better off with Five Guys, Shake Shack, or one of the other niche burger joints.
truly indulgent burger and fries, you're...
Read moreOrdered from Uber Eats. Took 2 hours to get my food! The driver arrived and waited for about 30 minutes finally got my order of 4 burgers and booked over. I don't understand how it takes almost 2 hours to prepare 4 burgers and 2 orders of fries?! My initial wait time listed by Uber was 45 minutes, there were no glitches and my order went through no problem. Then we sat and watched as the time kept getting longer and longer while the restaurant was STILL preparing my order!! Then to top it all off our order was missing the fries! They even have an accuracy card on the bag, check marked and everything! I don't understand! If you can't keep up with volume you should be closing down your food delivery options until you can! Awful!! Burger itself is only ok, you have to pay for condiments like ketchup and mayo! I'd say this burger is comparable to a burger from Wendy's, but...
