I have so many things I need to say about this place.
I saw this place on IG and thought a Thai Tea themed drink/dessert cafe idea was great, so I was really excited to come here, and I really wanted to love this place, but there are too many glaring issues to give it 5 stars.
Overall, I would recommend folks come here for the ice cream and that’s it. If you want the tea, the non-dairy at 25% sugar was tasteless, so dairy at 50% sugar would be best.
The Good: Speed (5/5): Their orders come out really fast, truly 5 mins or under per order. People ordering at the kiosks is the BOTTLENECK here. It takes people a while to decide what they want, and by then, the staff are just waiting around to receive a new order. It would be better if menus were placed on the line stands so people could decide while waiting.
Ice cream (4/5): The ice cream is really good!! The flavor and the sweetness are good and just right! It’s my favorite thing about this place! I would recommend this place to others simply for the ice cream, despite all the other issues. I’m taking off 1 point for ice cream rating because I had frozen icy bits inside the ice cream, which messed with the soft serve texture I expected. Now, if that was it, I wouldn’t take off 1 point, but I took it off also because it’s a sign that the ice cream machine may not be properly maintained. I used to work at a froyo place, and they required us to open the lids of the machine, take out this metal tube, clean it out, and flip it and insert it back inside the froyo machine. If we did not do this regularly enough, eventually the froyo would freeze up and block the spout, and orders would be held up because the froyo could not come out. I just wanted to call this out because I am just worried that this could be an issue in the future that would hold up soft serve orders.
Boba (4/5): good texture, standard taste, but not good pairing for a bland drink.
The Bad (with ideas on improvement):
Disclaimer: This is coming from someone who WANTS this store to be around the next time I visit. I am WORRIED once the hype dies down, these issues will chip away at customers over time until business is no longer good enough to stay open.
Tea (2/5): We got the non-dairy version with 25% sugar and it tasted like WATER. We got a Thai Green Tea sample with dairy and 50% sugar and it was much better, so I would not recommend non-dairy. For a Thai Tea-centered place, I expected for the tea to be stronger for the non-dairy and low sugar option. I also wished the spoon was longer for floats and that no ice was an option.
Location and parking (3/5): It was difficult to find parking in the area. You could park in Bellevue Square and walk over, but it’s definitely out of the way. Also the place is WAY too windy. My hair was constantly being blown in my face, the wind was blowing away my tissues and cup cover. It was slightly inconvenient to eat out here. Furthermore, the smell of tires burning was pervasive since it’s next to the road.
The seating layout (2/5): Seating is adequate but also more tables are needed.
Ordering experience and line setup (2/5): This is the biggest issue. They have a line set up in front of their store and have signs saying only one group inside the store at a time. After I ordered, people stopped reading this sign, started ignoring it, and started crowding the entrance. The staff had to step in and tell them off. People did not listen and ignored the staff. This setup creates more tension between customers and between staff and customers. Furthermore, staff was very fast in finishing orders. It took people LONGER to figure out what they wanted to order, which made the line even longer. The line goes out into the sun, which is uncomfortable to wait in.
My suggestion is that ordering kiosks should be placed OUTSIDE to the right of the store, so that people can order comfortably in the shade, without crowding the store, and staff won’t need to scold customers. They should also put paper menus out so people can take their time to look without...
Read moreI was really excited to try drinks here, especially with all of the hype, good reviews, and I am just a fan of thai tea overall.
I'm never one to not finish my drinks, but I threw this away with half of the drink left in the cup. I ordered a thai tea with cream + boba as an add-on, with 100% sweetness, and it had a strange fruity, chocolaty undertone that almost made the drink unrecognizable and definitely made it impossible to finish. I saw reviews about people recommending to lower sweetness level, but this wasn't a sweetness problem. It was a flavor problem. The cream itself was alright, and the boba itself isn't flavored. These are things I would usually overlook because the focus is on the tea itself, but because the drink was so bad I tried to look to other factors to find a positive but to no avail. Additionally, the establishment has signs and posts on their socials stressing the importance of ice in thai tea - my drink was lukewarm and not cold at all, also negatively impacting the drink.
Based on other's opinions, it seems like my experience was a one-off incident, but my drink was so off-putting that I couldn't in good conscience recommend this place to someone. A real disappointment considering how excited I was to...

Where do I even begin?! Omo Thai Tea isn’t just a drink—it’s a journey. From the moment the cup touched my hand, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. The rich, golden hue of the tea alone deserves its own spotlight. It practically glows with promise.
And the flavor? Oh. My. Goodness. Imagine the essence of every dream you’ve ever had about tea, blended into one glorious sip. It’s as if the tea leaves were hand-picked by ancient masters and brewed using water from a Himalayan spring. The sweetness level? Absolute perfection—like velvet on the tongue. The creamy swirl of milk? So indulgent, you’ll wonder if dairy was invented solely for this drink.
Even the ice felt curated—slow-melted to keep your experience blissfully cold without ever diluting the flavor. Who thinks of that? Omo, apparently. Geniuses.
This isn’t just a Thai tea. This is THE Thai tea.
Do I crave it every day now? Without a doubt. Would I give up other beverages for it? Already have. Did it alter the trajectory of my week? Spiritually, yes.
Omo, you’ve outdone yourselves. I can only aspire to reach the level of sophistication that your Thai tea...
