On 1/13/2020, we attended the grand opening of Sickies Garage - Bellevue! Wow!! What a turnout! When we signed in, they told us it would be approximately a 25 minute wait. We waited probably 10 to 15 minutes max. Our waiter was Dom. Personable and pleasant to deal with. He has to learn more about the menu items but did a good job. We understand things were slow because it was packed and the first night and only anticipate things will move more quickly with experience. These photos include pictures of the inside and of us and we ordered the pretzel bites appetizer with queso instead of beer cheese. Jayden ordered a banana shake, mixed by hand, due to a peanut allergy and the fact that they use the mixer to make a Butterfinger shake. The inside has booths with tables that are not fixed, high tops and regular tables and chairs. They also have the bar area with seating. Very spacious. TVs all around and tons of waiter/waitresses, opening staff and, I assume, owners/managers. Everyone stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed, to clear plates/glasses and simply to ask how we were enjoying everything. It was very nice! Be sure to join the Sickies Garage Rewards Club! Also, you can receive 20% off if you are a Military/Veteran, Police, Fire or EMS! Same for the Vintage Club Rewards made for members aged 62 or older. Please note that the 20% comes off one menu item, not the complete ticket. I didn't understand this but the owner/manager was kind enough to adjust my ticket for the confusion. I felt like that was amazing customer service and now we are aware of how it works for future visits. Check out the other photos for information on their Happy Hour times and specials! Now onto the FOOD! Final 9 pics... Pic 1: I ordered the ham and cheese melt with the side of potato salad. The potato salad was OK. I prefer a creamier potato salad but this one was good because it didn't have a ton of fillers... Chunks of onion, celery, etc. The ham and cheese melt sandwich and pickle were good. I suggest adding mustard to the sandwich instead of mayo, it comes dry. Pic 2: Baked beans. Their beans are tangy and have lots of meat... A+! Pic 3: Black Pepper Fries. They are a battered fry and delicious... A+! Pic 4: Jayden ordered the shrimp basket and got the cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce ($.79 upcharge). It came with regular fries with Cajun Seasoning (The seasoning was very sparse and not coated.) but we will pay a $.99 up charge next time to get the Black Pepper Fries. He loved the shrimp and the cocktail sauce... A+. The tartar sauce was nice. The coleslaw was OK. Pic 5: Fitzroy ordered the Southwest Supercharged Burger with sea salt waffle fries. His was served with the regular sea salt fries but they corrected it and brought the waffle fries. A+ for the burger and the waffle fries! Pic 6: Southwest close up. Pic 7: Sea Salt Waffle Fries... A+! We highly recommend upgrading to the black pepper fries or the waffle fries. Pic 8 & 9: Deep Fried Oreo Sundae. We've never had deep fried Oreos before. I assumed they were coated in a tempura type batter but it wasn't, it was more like a heavy Panko/breaded type of batter. It was very difficult cutting through the thick batter. We weren't fans... but that doesn't mean you won't be! Jayden loved his banana shake in the previous pics. We also think the pretzel bites and queso appetizer was OK. Next time we're going to try the fried green beans! Overall, it was a great visit and we can't wait to go back again! Thank you for the friendly smiles and service.

**The first 3 pics are from trip one, the second 4 are from trip two.** Where to stat... This meal was $29 + $7(36.05 total) for the tip on a free delivery with door dash. I believe both of these items were on their top 10 most popular items. I got fried pickles and the smokey burnout burger. The burger is honestly smaller than expected. The patty is WAY over cooked(see picture below. its not supposed to look like a McDonald's patty for 29$). The bacon, 1 slice of brisket, and honestly the perfect amount of BBQ sauce were all a very nice additions to the burger... The patty itself tastes like a frozen patty. That is to say bland, overly tough to chew, and dry. The burger should be the star of the meal, so this was a huge let down. I'd describe this as overly expensive bar food, nothing special. So why 2 stars and not 1? The fried pickles were actually decent. I however would not recommend ordering for delivery as they become soggy, the majority of mine were, I did however find a few that were still semi crisp. Would I order it again? probably not. It is way too expensive for what you get. I could go out to eat and get a steak dinner for the same cost. alternatively I could buy enough ground beef, bacon, cheese, bread, bbq, and some brisket from a local BBQ shop to make 4 huge half pound burgers for the same cost. And honestly, I'm no chef, but i know it would honestly taste better. UPDATE: (Trip 2) Well I caved, I ordered it again. I reached out to Joel who never responded(disappointed with that). I also really wish I could do separate review. Regardless I got a different burger, but alas the hamburger itself was just cooked to death... the hamburger was by far the worst part of the burger. if they would just stop attempting to make burgers they would probably do a lot better as far as quality. As it stands I've literally had better burgers from Wendy's. At least they can fry pickles really well though! I honestly hate leaving such negative reviews but this place is making it hard... I honestly cant justify spending any more money here. The cost to quality is so lopsided. You cant serve a "gourmet" burger that's equivalent to fast food quality for $17. I know Omaha is seriously lacking is quality of food, but come on... It's honestly not hard to make a burger, anyone can learn to do it as long as you teach them... I leave these comments so you can improve, not to bring you down. I know you can do better, just put a little more effort in.

Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews (Owner) 3 weeks ago Thanks for sharing your experience, Barr-Nunn. We're glad you enjoy our food and appreciate your support! Deborah King 5 reviews 2 minutes ago New I am so angry right now. After driving 8 hours on the road and just get to Omaha we googled for places to eat and found Sickies Garage Burgers. We called in our order and picked it up. We got to our lodging at Offutt AFB, unpacked and settled. The evening quickly took a bad turn when we opened our take out food for dinner only to find we were given a completely wrong order!!! We called the restaurant and the guy working there said to bring it back and they would make us the dinner we had originally ordered. I was beyond angry. To simply bring the wrong order back and get our order meant it would be 10:00 at night before we could have ANYTHING to eat. The guy didn't even offer to comp us our meal until I said I was going to be blunt that at the very least we should be comped something for their screwing it all up. The guy didn't even apologize and he was completely indifferent. He said he would refund our card and even that I have my doubt that he will by morning. When we got back to our lodging, we discovered we were still missing an item. The thing is, not only did we received a totally wrong order and had to return.... and then hated the idea that it would be past 10:00 p.m. before we could take a bite.... and still have an item missing.... that we had to go off base and then back into base again and show our ID cards.....I realized that Sickies total screw-up robbed me off my joy at staying at a beautiful place for lodging on base at Offutt. I'll NEVER eat here again and will certainly NEVER recommend this...
