Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Bellevue

I think this a great store. Yes it is sometimes disorganized and messy but only because we as CUSTOMERS do that and with the traffic that the store gets, it’s understandable why they have a hard time keeping it neat. They get trucks Monday-Friday and their trucks are RANDOM (hence it’s a treasure hunt store) so it’s understandable why sometimes it seems like there isn’t much. They have signs to point out the different sections (just got to look up) and they have a lot of 3XL clothing! They have a great prices and on top of that they have great clearance items, sometimes for 49 cents! They have a set number of cashiers scheduled so yes sometimes they only have one and most of the time it’s register one named returns and exchanges due to Ross policy, not the employee‘s choice. Yes the line sometimes gets long but they are doing THEIR BEST and they will call for back up IF it’s available. They have a friendly staff who is willing to help you! They work hard and I think they deserve appreciation in forms of THANK YOUS! Honestly, if we as customers put ourselves in their shoes and actually understood how Ross works, then I feel like we’d be more SYMPATHETIC. Overall, love this store and will ALWAYS keep coming back. Today I visited the Ross here in Bellevue Nebraska, while assuming it was closed due to Covid-19 I checked the door of the entrance to read the sign for clarification. I learned that the store was closed for the foreseeable future (understandable during the pandemic). However during my walk back to my vehicle I was approached by a very rude middle aged caucasian man who yelled at me claiming to be the store manager and accusing me of doing something to his door; shocked and uncomfortable I explained to him that I was looking to see if the projected opening date was posted on the sign and he continued to be very rude and then when he got into his car he watched me and remained in the lot until after I left (by the way he was parked at the very back of the lot very close to the exit while I was at the front). I’m not sure if he was telling the truth about being the manager but if he is that was incredibly unprofessional and undignified. I will not be shopping at this store again if that creepy man...

Since I was in the area I decided to come to Ross today just to browse around and see if anything caught my interest. I like coming here because I can always find some decent discounted items. They have a little bit of everything here. It’s kind of like a giant garage sale almost but all the products aren’t you. They’re just the products that the bigger namebrand stores got rid of for whatever reasons. I like to browse around for kitchen items, furniture, candles, bathroom accessories, and anything else that catches my eye. The store is really never crowded. Today the shelves seemed a little thin and there wasn’t much to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful and greeted me as I was entering and leaving the store. The facility was clean for the most part but it was cluttered upfront a little bit by the registers.
