The food is okay. The regular masa is better the rice masa. The Rice masa pupusa felt as if it didnt have any filling and was more like a flat bread that was super chewey. I asked for chicharron with cheese, and I asked for lorroco to be added since their chicharron and cheese option doesn't have lorroco in it. The lady kind of gave me attitude when I asked if they coul add lorroco. She made it seem as if it was a big request that had to be approved by a manager. The ensalada (drink) was good. I wish it had passionfruit in it. Its the closest pupuseria near me and I was really craving them. The one pupusamade up for the entire meal. The $4.75 price for harina de arroz is not worth it. $4.50 for regular pupusa seems kind of steep, but it has been a while since I have eaten at a 🇸🇻 restaurant so I'm assuming that's the going rate now.
Empanadas are okay, I've had them in the past. Thryre not too sweet, the filling is kind of bland, I didnt really get a flavor to it.
The curtido is good, the salsa was too watery for my liking, but had a good taste.
They have quarter machines for the kids to get little toys. And a lot of the stuff you see on the wall...
Read moreHorrible service. No customer service skills what so ever. The lady we spoke to was very rude. No manners in which to speak to people. This is NOT the first time we go. We have been here several times. Mostly to go orders due to there service. Only come here bc it's hard to find somewhere local. But this last time was the end of the straw. We were trying to celebrate my son's graduation he doesn't like pupusas but enjoys a good chicken sandwich so we decided to come here since next door we could buy the graduate his Sandwich. I tried to order at the counter the lady asked us to sit down. I advised her I wanted to order now cuz I was going next door to order 1 sandwich she then replied that no outside food was permitted. I said ok 1 sandwiches, we all want pupusas and she declined. Well guess they'd rather lose business for 1 chicken...
Read moreI was excited to find a restaurant that was close that sold pupusas. I went into the restaurant and made my order of 6 pupusas. I saw the cashier right my order down, and she took my card to pay. She told me 20 mins. Once, I paid and sat down next to the counter. As I was waiting patiently, I saw two different sets of customers come in to make orders, and they received their food in a timely matter. Now I look it's 45 min. I walked up to the counter to see if my order was ready, and the cashier had the nerve to tell me that she had forgotten what I ordered. I was in disbelief. I told her again my order and had to wait an additional 15 mins. Was not a happy camper. She apologized, but the place was not crowded at all to forget about my order. Definitely not returning. The food was good but the service...
