Beaver Inn — Restaurant in Bellingham

Been in here twice. Older gentleman behind the bar gave real 'hovering owner' vibes, gave me a stink eye when I first walked in and continued to stare throughout the night until we left. Came back the next day for them to have troubles at the pool table where we asked the older gentleman to assist us- his immediate vibe was hostile and accusatory asking us 'what did we do' when we had just arrived. The younger tender, wearing his hood up was promising, but should probably find somewhere...

Bum bar. Creepy bums outside begging you. Can't even be away from my husband or I get majorly gawked. Crabby bartender who will only serve me one drink "Because she's too skinny.". "Please bruh I work out 125 5' 6" makes me a specimen. I can hardly move when I am in that hole, the call a bar. Friendly staff and interesting location. My friend and I would come here on Thursday evenings for a drink or two and to play pool. Usually isn't busy until 7/8pm on weekends and is generally quiet on weeknights. Can be tough to get a pool table if you get here later in the evening. Our usual itinerary for pools nights was to go here at 7pm, play pool until 9:30, and then walk nextdoor to the Horseshoe.
