9/7/25: BB&G NEVER disappoints!! Matt once again was the perfect host! We need to come here more often, like once a week, minimum!!! :-) 12/27/23: Mo & Matt both worked the entire space tonight like a well-oiled machine! Some would call it "Poetry in Motion". We arrived shortly after 4 p.m., when they opened, and it was already busy with patrons. We yet again enjoyed our 14 Hands Chardonnay and ordered up our HH meals, the Bar Burger and the Steak & Prawns. Both meals were truly EXCEPTIONAL!! YET AGAIN, with my wife's Celiac issue, the chef revised the typical prawn dish to support her gluten concern. What they served was BEYOND expectations. The steak was a perfect medium rare, she then experienced a perfectly cooked Prawn dish, seasoned to perfection w/garlic & butter. I can honestly say that these prawns were as good if not better than what you would experience @ Morton's Steakhouse in Los Angeles, The Oceanaire, Atlanta or Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in Chicago! It was just that good! YUP, we’ll be back!! Updated 11/12/23 BB&G never disappoints! Each & every visit to BB&G is always more enjoyable than the last, seems impossible but true. Now with Mo opening up an "AXE THROWING" event center next door, (it's more than just your basic axe throwing joint (trust me!!)) there is even MORE fun to be had!! UPDATED: 4/7/2022 So it's been at least 3 years since I have visited the BB&G (blame COVID), and I can with DELIGHT say this bar is STILL in a position all its own! Between James and Mo, the service is TOP 10!, (they really are that GOOD!), the food is fabulous, the prices truly can't be beat (the wine price is the same it was 3+ years ago!!, If only gasoline was the same!!) The banter at the bar is polite and interesting, and the clientele are all appreciative of what a great space this truly is. I had the Happy Hour Burger, you can't get better in town, PERIOD! It's been a while since I was fortunate enough to visit BB&G, but I can tell you this, I am already thinking I may have to visit again TOMORROW night! (Previously) Possibly our favorite bar in Bellingham. Certainly, in the Top 3. A great Happy Hour with plenty of things to do from shuffleboard to pool, you won't get bored. The menu is diverse, and pricing is MORE than fair! We're Chardonnay drinkers so to get a decent pour of 14 Hands for $8.00 you can't go wrong. Service is exceptional, and we always arrive to smiles and hospitality. THANK YOU, MO, FOR ALWAYS TAKING...
Read moreUnless you want be sexuallly harassed, DO NOT COME HERE. I have gone too BBGs for the last 2 years to play free pool and get cheap shots on weekday nights. But, have been recluctant recently because of their less than friendly staff. About 3 weeks ago, after not going in for a while, I decided to give them another try for progressive well night on Wednesday night. I was sitting at a taller table and about 30 minutes in a boy (probably about 21) came up behind me and grabbed my breasts from behind. I turned around and he didnt say anything. My friends didnt know what to do, so I told the bouncer. The bouncer told the guy he should leave but then was connvinced by the guy he shouldnt, because it was "an accident". So, the bouncer just walked away. We moved to a different part of the bar and the boy then saw my friend in the bathroom and tried to fight him for "being a snitch". And when I told the bouncer again that the guy was trying to fight people now, he did ABSOLUTLEY nothing. Someone told me that the bouncer was friends with this guy as well. I WILL NEVER come back to BBGs for the sole fact that I feel a lack of safety in being there. I have never felt so uncomfortable and taken advantage of. I hope the owners are aware that they have bouncers that accept sexual harrasment in their establishment. This is a disgusting place, and I will never be back. I would rather pay money than get...
Read moreVery rude staff. Some folks from my high school reunion decided to visit the bbg. We were asked at one point to stop "ruff housing" which we did immediately. I minutes later attempted to buy a few drinks for me and my friends. I was told they wouldn't serve me any drinks which I had had none from the bbg. I had three beers over approximately three hours before we arrived. I was showing no signs of being over the limit. I then asked if I could have clarification why I couldn't be served drinks. I generally would have just gone elsewhere but my whole reunion was here now. Then I was told because I was arguing (which I wasnt) that I would now have to leave. Before I even had a moment to process or even ask if I could just still stay without drinks for my reunion I was being ripped out by three employees extremely aggresivly. No attempt was ever made for me to leave peacefully no explanations were ever given, and absolutely no patience was shown. The force was many levels over what was needed for the situation. I received bruising and scrapes on my arm and neck from this unprofessional, unwarranted force. I am currently starting the process of legal action against your...
