I’ve recently discovered this shop on my travel here and have since been here several times to buy their gelato because it’s really good. However, the lady that works here is super stingy and always gives me the smallest scoop every single time when she’s there and it’s very upsetting!!! Other employees have been very generous and fair to me (see photos) I normally shy away from expressing dissatisfaction in public but i actually made a comment to her about how small the amount was and she gave me the most uncomfortable expression when I mentioned it. Another employee was kind enough to replace my cone but I will not be returning when she’s there. Please understand that if i’m paying over $5 for an ice cream cone which is absolutely ridiculous by the way, then I expect to get a fair amount for my money. How would you feel if your favorite treat was gelato and someone was being stingy towards you everytime? SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️

Five stars all around. Employees were extremely helpful, nice and friendly, and they wearing masks which I really appreciated. In addition to gelato, they had a large selection of fun sorbet flavors. I got the watermelon and grapefruit and both were flavorful, had a perfect consistency, and tasted just like their fruit counterparts. The watermelon was amazing. I also got some chocolate and the pieces I had were delicious, rich, fruity, and exquisite. Some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had literally and that’s saying something as I’ve traveled all over the world and even lived in Basically everything was fantastic. Tip: Free parking on the side of the building.

A hidden gem in Fairhaven district Rich and interesting selections of truffles include unusually good variety of liquor infused ones We tried a dozen different flavors and the Nut Crunch is voted the best! Other flavors are all pretty tasty though I do wish the outer crust if those truffles was softer and smoother so that they would be more integrated as a whole There are also many novelty chocolates ( think hedgehog, Christmas train, snowman…etc) as well as single origin wafers on the shelves Decor is warm and remind me of Tuscany style tasting rooms Did not try its gelatos and thus not able to comment on those

Not perfect, but by far the best gelato I have ever had outside of Europe. Had the dark chocolate, which is very very rich but not really dark, it was good and incredibly creamy, almost like a cold pudding, outstanding. I do wonder though why there is no ‘regular’ chocolate? I also had the vanilla, which seemed to have an artificial flavour unfortunately, but once blended with the chocolate it was undetectable. The fruit flavours were not great, green apple tasted identical to apple purée from a grocery cup, had nothing of a green apple flavour, apricot was meh…and they were both the very watery frozen type that you find everywhere masquerading as gelato, more like a frozen slushy. Don’t recommend the fruity stuff but I can’t bring myself to give them less stars because of it either. The frog family chocolate is fantastic and I assume any of the milk chocolate, you can not find chocolate like this anywhere anymore, incredibly creamy and quite sweet but not overloaded and grainy like most others these days. For any Europeans it’s what Milka used to be like back in the golden days of treats, just not quite as flavourful. Slightly less sugar would be perfection! Great find,...

Response to the owner: The idea that your flavors are not artificial is hilarious. Based on items in your store I was able to track down your supplier and it is indeed full of artificial flavors. You can't fool my nose! (Or eyes - artificial coloring is obviously in play as well.) For the price you are charging you should be making your gelato from scratch. --- (my original post below) Excellent hard chocolates but terrible gelato. If you like stinky artificial aromas, low-quality texture and inflated prices it is for you! Otherwise stick to the packaged chocolates, which are beautiful and delicious. The seating area is nice too. Maybe the owners aren't tasting their own gelato enough or going too cheap on ingredients. It is a major blind spot for them. We bought four flavors and the Panna Cotta, with extra strong artificial flavor and aroma, was...
