i’m not often compelled to write reviews, but when i’m blatantly and intentionally ripped off i think others should know about it.
i asked the cashier girl if the lemonade was fresh squeezed; before she could answer the pizza guy jumped in and said “yes! we squeeze lemons in the back!” i reiterated, ‘so it’s not made from powders or premade mix?’ and he assured me it was not, but that it was fresh and homemade.
so i paid my $15 for one slice and one (one-size-only) lemonade, and upon first sip it was immediately evident that it was NOT fresh squeezed. it had the overwhelming bitterness (not sourness, but bitterness) that only frozen and/or pasteurized lemons develop. it tastes exactly like the foul, frozen minuteMade cans you get at the grocery store, without a hint of verve or freshness that even a few fresh lemons would have imparted. it also tasted like corn syrup, rather than sugar.
to me “fresh squeezed lemonade,” especially at the overpriced beach, should be made entirely of freshly squeezed lemons, water, and granulated sugar.
if i was not directly lied to, i would not have bothered making this review, even despite the ridiculous overpricing. and if they actually are squeezing fresh lemons to make this “fresh” lemonade, then they are boiling it or freezing it between service, bc in that case it tasted like it was fresh last month.
if you want to serve shlt lemonade and charge $7 for it, go right ahead. but please stop lying directly to your customers about it.
also, my $7 slice was too saucy...

It was so bad that my friends were daring each other to try it. Even a tiny piece burned going down. The next day I could still taste the garlic, even though I'd tossed basically the whole thing. My friends had to get ice cream to try to wash the taste away. Definitely not going back here. I will add one star back on just because my friend's fries were so good (though she didn't really like them). Maybe I just got the wrong things. It was also really stressful trying to pick up my food plate. I had to squeeze between the huge line of noisy teens waiting to order. Very, very little...
Read moreWe decided to give this place a try after a few hours at the beach across the street. We ordered a large plain pie, 2 fountain drinks and a bottle of water. $50 seemed expensive but it was convenient so I figured no biggie. We waited out front and the waitress told us she would call us when the order was ready. A half hour later and no pizza. I went inside to check on the order and there it was, sitting in the oven. The pizza was still warm but extremely oily. Everyone used a bunch of napkins to soak up the oil. The highlight of the order was the lemonade, which my son said was good. Overall, this place is convenient but...
