I have been going to Jersey Mikes for several years to various locations and always had a great experience until I went to their Belmar Beach Boardwalk location. They literally made my sandwich wrong 4 times in a row and when I pointed out that my sandwich was STILL missing peppers the young man at the registered opened it up and searched through with his bare dirty fingers looking for the peppers then proceeded to give the sandwich to the guy in the back to add the missing peppers and give back to me. How disgusting is that???? I immediately refused the sandwich and told him that was highly unsanitary, and he should know better. They then made the 4th sandwich, this time it had peppers but was missing tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano. Read moreBeing on the boardwalk of Belmar and also being a jersey mike’s fan went there earlier today, lady at the counter had a nasty attitude, if you don’t want the job, don’t show up. Anyways Jersey Mike is usually on point on nice beach day but today wasn’t the case. Not only did the lady not ask me what I wanted on my sandwich she forgot to give me tomatoes, low key sad when I opened up my sandwich and it was all full of lettuce no meat like other locations do it, I get it’s on the beach but 15.00 for a pile of wilted brown lettuce do better! The other sandwich I ordered which I understand comes the mikes way usually they ask she just drenched my sandwich in oil and vinegar till the bread was wet like the ocean, maybe she was just salty she wasn’t catching the stellar waves like us but sucks to suck thanks for the 30 dollars of lettuce. I’ll stop in Neptune for a sub from jersey mikes that location can actually make a sandwich correctly! I don’t know what...

($20) That said, these subs are worth every nickel because of fresh ingredients and bread that means it. Fun to dine outdoors, except for other customers who were loud and rude, no fault of the...
