New China — Restaurant in Belmont

First off; I've been enjoying Orange Chicken for a very long time...My family and I are from Chicago and many years of Cantonese delights have been had by us... I wish I can put negative 5 stars, cause I would if I could...! Ordered Orange Chicken from 'New China' and it was by far the worst I've ever had...! As you can see from the picture included there was NO CHICKEN IN ALL THE PIECES!!! It's just all breading with a small piece of chicken....and all the pieces were like this...I cannot understand that you would actually send out something like this from your kitchen...! I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING LIKE THIS FROM A RESTAURANT...I was so upset that I was gonna call for a refund or to remake it but,... I didn't friggin bother...! I GAVE THEM THREE CHANCES AND ALL WERE HORRIBLE!!!...THE QUALITY OF THE PROTEINS AND VEGETABLES WERE BLAND SUB PAR...WHATS THE CHANCES OF THAT HAPPENING...I WILL NOT BE ORDERING ANYTHING FROM NEW CHINA EVER AGAIN!!!!!! And, I've lived here in Belmont for almost three years now and my go to Asian is definitely AKAHANA, and always was and it will continue to be!!!!!! They are the best at service and food quality...! All the times Ive ordered from them all the dishes was delicious and correctly mastered...! I thought I'd give NEW CHINA a chance, three actually,... but, NEVERMORE!!! If you want hood slop thats cheap and disgusting and probably unhealthy, you can order from here otherwise DONT! I am going conduct an investigation into the quality and health practices of NEW CHINA...! STAY TUNED!!! I hope nobody gets sick from this hood slop!!! I PITY THE FOOL!!! If I were you, I'd steer clear from this place because they are not serving classic Chinese food...! They are robbing every single person that walks in there!!! And, causing sickness to all of you! Don't be fooled by the cheap prices...! Its bland and questionable proteins and...

Have been coming here since I was young. Its got some great food! You will definitely get americanized Chinese, which always has been a favorite of mine hah. They do add a bit too much sauce on some dishes so you can possibly ask for less sauce. I got sauteed broccoli with tofu added ($2 charge) which was so worth it, it was yummy! And my dad got the Hunan chicken and many other dishes since hes been coming here longer than I have. He always gets extra spicy and they always accommodate. He says the lo mien is always really spicy even when he orders the same spice level on other dishes. All of the staff is so friendly and recognizes us. Definitely worth checking out and get...

Got the Crab Rangoon, Fried Dumplings, and Chicken Chow Mein. Instead of Chow Mein, they gave me a soup...it was a really good soup with Cabbage and Boiled Chicken, but it couldnt have been Chow Mein...so check your order. The Dumpling Sauce was disappointing, just a really salty soy sauce, but the dumplings were good. The Rangoon was the kind that is basically a lot of cream cheese in triangular wrappers that are not exciting...I dont know if I have ever had good takeout Rangoon though. They prepared everything really fast, but I may have to try some other items to get a better idea since they are so convenient. Will review again next time I go. Posted some menu pics...
