Subway — Restaurant in Belmont

Terrible place. This one guy dropped a dirty sharpie marker in the tomatoes, saw it, and continued serving people.

There's also one woman there who is always in a sour mood. She just slaps sandwiches together and gets grumpy when you make a little preference here and there. And YES I am talking about the Subway located in the Belmont Walmart.

Also, every time I have gotten a sandwich there, it's been cold in the middle. There was also one incident where my steak and cheese sandwich tasted like straight up cigarette ashes.

It's a common inside joke here in the Belmont and Mount Holly area to avoid this Subway. It gets busy because it's convenient for Walmart shoppers to stop by here before heading home, but that is the only thing that keeps this business running. The biggest problem I have here is the lack of adequate staff, which turns the existing employees overworked, stressed, and with bitter customer service. Poor management reflects strongly here.

Folks, if you want a good Subway, the one in Mount Holly next to Food Lion and Little Caesar's is fairly decent. Avoid this one...

My girlfriend and I both ate at this subway against my better judgment and we both got food poison. I stopped going here years ago because the store was dirty and the people wasn't very sanitary, long story short, girlfriend talked me into trying it again. First thing when we walked up, I ask where is all the meat? They have replaced the clear see through food covers with metal covers so now you can't even see what they have or what it looks like, I wanted to leave again at that point but my girlfriend gave me that look and said it will be alright, but you know what girlfriend, it wasn't alright, you know why ? Because now we have food poison. Anyway back to my rant, typical mollinial attitude like you would expect at most fast food places, very short, not friendly, basically, just give me your hard earned money so I can get back on my phone attitude. Long story short, I will not ever return to this Subway again as long as I live. You can have it Belmont but not...

8/26/23 9:35pm USUALLY, we don't have a problem with this store or this location. We've been coming here for 15yrs. Unfortunately, I don't have the young ladies name, and it's not on the receipt. Otherwise, I'd call the franchisee. She was Caucasian, approximately 20, 5'7, with medium brown shoulder-length hair. I'm saying this because we used a special ONLINE ORDER ONLY coupon for BOGO takeout. I ordered the 12" #2 Steak & Cheese and paid $3.45 extra for double steak, which seemed like a no-brainer to me. Welllll ... upon opening my sandwich, there were 6 little pieces of meat on the entire 12" sub!! The other one was the same. I was soooo upset! My hubby had the 12" #17 Roast Beef & Cheese and was very happy with it. It had more meat on just ONE HALF of his one sub than I had on BOTH of mine combined. I got all my veggies, but ...
