Roses Discount Store — Local services in Belmont

There's a Roses up the street from me but I grew up going to the Roses in Belmont and when I tell you I truly enjoy this place especially the employees. Everyone is very helpful and so sweet. This is definitely one of my go to stores for reasonable clothes, household products and old school candy like Mary Janes, Bit-o-honey and fruit chews for only $1.25. You can literally find all types of cookies, Jack in the box caramel popcorn, Mary Jane's, bit-o-honey and other childhood favorites. Takes me back to my younger days when kids were kids and appreciated the simple snacks. I go in for one thing and come out with like 15 items. One stop shop like Walmart. Everything you need in one location. I have no cons about this location. Anywhere you go there will be long lines, it just depends how bad do you want the product and how patient are you. For me, i've learned to have patience. The lines don't bother me. It's the great customer service that keeps me coming back. Great...

I shop here a lot and spend plenty here, but some of these ladies are really rude ,no customer skills or professionalism at all. I was treated very rude while bringing in a return . No greeting , no can I help you just a “do you have your receipt”? as the older lady beside her helping or training this younger lady she whispered rudely through the whole process .They would not return the item with the receipt I had because it was exchange receipt.( Im sure thats what the whispering was about) but it clearly stated that I paid the difference if anything . They called a manger only to offer a store credit , because I didn’t have both receipts ,so I declined because of the amount I payed for the item . Not only did the Dove products smell ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE DOVE. I buy it enough to know. Matter of fact it smelled like baby shampoo IDK. I didn’t complain to each it’s own. But i draw the line with the expired food. EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN THAT COOLER WAS EXPIRED AND DISCOLORED. I politely ask for a mgr NOT TO COMPLAIN TO BRING AWARENESS.
