I like many would put a zero if I could. This manager has no concept of customer service. After dealing with 2 previous defective phones from insurance claim. Brought my again defective phone to this location. I simply wanted to have the backup of personal at this location to show the phone would not work and it wasn't my cord. The manager tried the phone sent to me by Assurion and said it was defective also and would probably overheat should it ever come on. He and the assistant pushed me into an upgraded phone. I asked 3 times if it would change my normal billing. Was told no and if anything my bill may lower. I was not given any information or receipt for the transaction. Later around 18 days, I received an email from billing. The bill actually went up a total of $46 dollars after upgrade charges and changes monthly. I called customer service and the agent said to go back to the store and to not leave unless the manager called the cs office. Once at the store the manager replied I will not take the phone or anything back and that it was not Walmart. I told him that the bill overall will change 28 dollars not realizing it was actually $46 and that cs told me to bring new phone back. He refused to make the customer service call and said it was past the 14 days any he would not return the phone that was $1,000. At that time I told him he lied to me. I told him that I could remove the tv service and phone service and they loose over $300 monthly. His reply was "it does not matter to me and makes no difference to me what you do" well at that point I called customer service myself while at this store and spoke to a nice lady. I told her about how he lied to me to talk me into a plan I did not realize he had changed that was considerably more. While I was on the phone he actually called the police and caught them at the door while I was on the phone with cs. She was shocked at his behavior and could hear everything said. The police asked me to leave and said he does not want me there. I of course was crying by then and totally dismayed at this man's ego and total disregard for a customer of more than 10 years. I spent 6 hours in one day getting the phone returned to another store close by. I had over 8 hours of just phone time in 3 days but thanks to very nice people the next town over was able to address all issues except now have the old original phone that does not hold charge. My best option is to use my insurance once again and try to receive a working phone. I am afraid of another change to my account. As for now, I will never send anyone to this Belmont location. Be aware if you go the manager if he dislikes or disagrees he may call police to have you removed. I did nothing wrong except call a liar what he was, a liar. I honestly hate lies and just be cautious of this man. He will push you into an upgrade you don't want and lie to your face about the cost. If you don't like the deal or complain he will try to have you arrested for trespassing. Oh well back where I started but Considerably much happier now. Read moreI made a mistake and gave a 5 when asked how satisfied I was with the service of this store, I meant to put a 1 for very dissatisfied and wish it had a 0 . I was told the iPhone 14 would be $5.99 a month with the promotion. $429.99 total (four something) So I paid for that. I ask Mike M for the receipt but he refused and told me that I needed to call customer service to get it. What he gave me didn’t reflect what I paid for, he said that is just how it prints. Prior to this I had changed my plan which will begin on my next billing cycle. Mike changed the plan and I noticed that it would be $73 more than what it was supposed to have been. While on the phone with customer service, I asked for the receipt which I then noticed that Mike M had added insurance that will cost $17 monthly and next op that cost an additional $10 monthly for in case I may want to upgrade later. I had specifically told him I did not want insurance through them because I already have insurance that I will add this phone onto. Never did we discuss the $10 add on, which cannot be taken off for some reason. I was sent to the store by customer service because they weren’t able to upgrade the phone because I had changed my plan on the up coming billing cycle. I noticed all of the unauthorized charges on the receipt that I had to have the customer service person email me. This is why Mike M refused to give me the receipt after I had paid because he knew that I had not authorized any additional payments and I definitely didn’t authorize a phone that cost $20 a month. He guaranteed that I would only be paying $5.99 but he couldn’t show me after I paid. I am very disappointed that people can take from me and nothing has been done. They can’t change my plan back to what it was. They can’t stand by the $5.99 I was guaranteed, they can’t take the $10 monthly charge off my account, all of this simply because i asked for help from AT&T. The bill shows 36x $20.99 instead of 36x$5.99 that’s a huge difference on top of the additional charges. Close to $300 monthly in charges. 6509 WILKINSON BLVD AT&T is the worst place ever!!! 8/1 update, I received an email that the owner had responded to this review at 5pm, at 5:24 pm I received another email that my account had been changed (without my permission) I went into the account to find that the person changed my account by adding a more expensive plan that would run from September 1-October 1 2024, which also means that I will have additional cost for switching in the middle of my billing cycle. So while this person appears eager to help up front, in the back they created mischief. Which is how this entire ordeal began. I never recommend anyone going to this location for ANYTHING. Their website says they are master certified with Apple products. This is a joke because every customer I saw come in the store with questions about their Apple products was immediately referred to Apple, their work IT, or anyone they saw fit to dish it off to. This store made a huge mistake on my account. I went in to pay off a phone and they paid off the wrong one.
