First off, I just want to say that I enjoyed the food and have never had any issues before this time, I haven't ordered from them since. I had ordered food online a half hour after they opened was told it would be 30-45 mins. I waited a little over an hour and the manager Nathan called me saying my food got delayed it would be on its way soon. (I'm not sure what happened, my guess is that they forgot to print the online ticket and send it to the kitchen). So I waited just a little over an hour and decided to call the restaurant (I had been waiting a little over two hours for my food at this point) I asked to speak to Nathan and when he got on the phone he was very rude this time. He said the delivery driver had just left and it should be there soon. I asked if I could get some sort of a refund, he got irritated with me and asked what I wanted. I should have asked for the full amount back, but I just said refund 50% back. He said ok and hung up. Needless to say, I was never refunded back the 50% which I'm honestly not surprised given his customer service skills. But the real kicker is that they had to print a whole new ticket for my order so when the delivery driver gave me my food, he asked for a tip. I said I had already paid for the tip when I ordered my food online, he showed me the new receipt that didn't show the tip on there, I said talk to the manager he would have the old online ticket with the tip. They were clearly short staffed but the owner was less than calm and I could tell he was making things much worse just by being there. After 20 minutes of waiting, he stated it would be another 10 minutes. He said to pull ahead and he would bring my order out to me. Never told me anything more. Tons of cars came and went, delivery drivers ran past me seeing me sitting there waiting forever and never acknowledged me. The owner came to the back door multiple times to talk to delivery drivers and never gave me a second thought. After 30 minutes I went back to the window and the girl said, oh sorry, yea, I saw your order, it's been sitting here. Are you kidding me? I waited for an hour! Mind you, I would have canceled and drove off 40 minutes prior but it was an online order and I didn't know how to cancel to get my money back. It would have been faster with delivery. I order from there a lot. I won't be anymore. He clearly doesn't care about his customers and can't handle his business when it's busy. Read morePalermo's isnt what it used to be. I have always loved their pizzas, especially the cheese they used. But Now, they have changed their cheese product and their sausage product. Sausage doesnt look or taste real. They didnt inform us of any change in their products. If they mess up your pizza, or order, the owner refuses to replace anything for you. The supervisor was nice and polite when i ordered. When i called back for a complaint, she was rude, sarcastic, and tried to cut conversation short. Offered to credit my pizza, and when i said i wanted it now, she said hold on (put me on hold four times to go speak to Peter, the owner), came back to phone and said she could only give me $2.00 credit. THIS PLACE HAS WENT DOWNHILL!!! They changed to cheaper , poor quality products, YET expect me to pay the same price or more for lower quality,service and meals.
