While traveling 3 hours away from home, sitting at the hospital all day, we were ready to hit the road. But not until I had to stop and get some solid food!! Long story short, my sister lost her wallet inside the store. We were already over an hour away before we realized it was missing. We tried to call the store but they were busy. So I called the Belton Police. These people at Freddy’s told that dispatcher that they would be closed by the time we got back up there. But they stayed to make sure we could get the wallet back. Saving us another trip tomorrow and the heartache of losing something so personal!!! What a wonderful bunch of people. With all the dishonesty and stealing going on, these folks put the wallet up for safe keeping. They could’ve split what was inside. (Which wasn’t a lot) But, they didn’t!!!!
Thank you Belton Freddy’s for being honest and trustworthy!! (And GREAT FOOD TOO!!!)
And a special thanks to Matt the Dispatcher Of Belton Police department for getting in contact with these folks when we couldn’t. It means the...
Read moreHorrible place to go. Sunday night gnats in the restaurant and on the food.. Had a chicken sandwich that was chewy and raw. When shown to the employee (one with yellow hair) was told that there chicken is precooked and they cook for 4 minutes and she won't give a refund. Well then it was raw when it was shipped. My 10 year old son almost threw up. They gave attitude ( same yellow haired person) when asked for the plain cheeseburger that was ordered. Another burger was smashed so much while cooking it was hard and crusty couldn't eat it. They had to add the chili and cheese to the hot dog because they forgot it. When my husband tried to talk to Maggie the manager she told him Mayne he shouldn't come back... There was no apology and when she went to get her managers number she and her coworks had a good laugh. I could understand confusion while making the food if it was busy but it was us 2 cars in line and the employees inside. After we got our food one other couple came in. Wish I could take stars away for food prep, bugs and...
Read moreTLDR: Incredibly rude order taker.
Used the app tonight to order a concrete. It was after 10, so I went through the drive-thru. The order taker passive aggressively said “It’s probably easier to walk in and get it, but I get the convenience of it.” That statement alone doesn’t seem rude, but her tone was very passive aggressive as if it was insurmountably burdensome for her to move the concrete three feet from the front counter to the drive-thru window. While I’ll admit I didn’t pay attention to the screen after my order was confirmed that states there is a pick up shelf, the attitude was unnecessary. A more appropriate response would be to say “in the future, we ask that mobile orders be picked up inside to help reduce drive-thru wait times,” or better yet say nothing at all! The order taker doesn’t know if I’m disabled, have a child asleep in the car, simply didn’t see the message about where to pick up, or any other number of reasons why someone may choose the drive-thru over coming into...
