I worked here as a delivery driver for a few months and it was a very welcoming experience. I had good days and bad days but every day i felt a part of a team. One of the managers Travis, is a snarky yet very funny and friendly guy who cares about his business and his employees. Throughout the entire training process i received help and even afterwards too. Nobody expects you to do things you haven't learned to do and most of the managers were always willing to cover positions on the fly had the other in shop employees not been confident in their ability to complete a task or simply not know how. Another stand out manager, Barton was the friendly giant every fast food joint never knew they needed. My time spent there was a great experience and there are times i wish i was still behind that deli cooler cutting pickles and prepping sandwiches. From an inside perspective JJs has always valued cleanliness and a fun comfortable environment. I wasn't a believer in cold subs before JJs but they took my world and turned it upside, in a great way. Only downside is the unfortunate proximity to low income neighborhoods where i was paranoid while out on delivery. Other than that this is a great, fun and friendly place to work. I genuinely felt treated like a part...
Read morenot so great - i usually love jimmy johns and i drove 15 minutes to this location. walked in silence went to the bathroom dirty and then walked up and told them i had a to go order (since there was nothing really indicating to-go like they usually do near the front door) - the gentleman picked up a sandwich from among many and handed it to me and told me "there are the bags and napkins - chips and drinks in the front" and then walked off....... um - typically im not annoyed but this bugged me. i had to bag my sandwich (no biggie), walk to the front of the store, get chips and a cup for my drink (thank goodness i paid for this but honestly you really dont need to bc they dont check your receipt anyways), then walked all the way back to the back of the store to fill up my cup and then walked out while there was still silence. customer service was not there today. disappointed in...
Read moreWe got there at 9:20, they close at 10. We should gave just left, but I usually love JJ's. When ever I go to Georgetown Area I get me a sandwich. This shop isn't like that great one there. They put mayo on my husband's sandwich he doesn't like mayo,he said oil and vinegar only ,I had asked for all the veggies and extra onions, neither one of us got our sandwiches the way we wanted them. I did ask for my veggies. My husband was too tired to wait another 15 minutes so he ate what he got but not at all happy. . This experience wasn't friendly, or welcoming. We felt like we were putting them out.I understand we were there close to the end of the day but The sign says open til 10. Not we start cleaning at 9:15 . We ate enough to stop the hunger pains and left. We were gone before the 10pm closing. Not to worry we will go to Jersey...
