We do not live in Belton but have been to this location before & the one in Lee's Summit and previously loved them both. This visit was disappointing. The individual who took our order never smiled and the only conversation was just the necessary questions regarding our choices. In fact, she didn't really act like she wanted to be there. I love the Reuben sandwiches but this one was not very hot compared to my previous experiences. To add to that, the entire location was VERY cold. I suppose that's why several parties were eating outside. Is there a reason for the low temperature? Are the eating and kitchen areas on different air conditioning units? I can see wanting it cooler in the cooking area. I am not an individual who gets cold easily so I'm sure there were others suffering---had to go to my car for a sweatshirt. The temperature did not help my "already not hot sandwich". I layed napkins on top of it to keep it from cooling off even more. i was sad that I chose this...
Read moreI’ve been to this location twice since it’s opening and as always the food is amazing. The same consistent quality as I’ve experienced at the other locations around town. The service here is amazing as well. Despite how busy this location is, the staff are pleasant, patient and kind. The only discomfort we have experienced during our most recent visit was actually who we would assume to be one of the managers. This person walked in pretending to be a customer and then proceeded to correct the greeter in front of everyone. It was awkward and honestly so unnecessary. Sitting next to the greeter and hearing him be berated for not telling customers to watch the front step was not what I expected during my lunch break. The greeter was so kind, helpful and professional. I made a point to thank him and let him know I’d watch my step. Being kind to your staff and being discreet with corrections goes a long way in...
Read moreThis was my first in last time at this location both the workers up front looked lost and confused my order was rung up wrong so I’m asking questions about my receipt and instead of getting a manager the very confused employee just gave me an excuse so I sat down my order came out wrong and took it up front she had a it to the guy working back expo and he had a nasty attitude always working with a book bag on (weird) my order came back out and it still was incurred but through all of this not once did a manger come and visit talk or make peace with a single one of the mistakes no good hospitality at all but the worse part is someone went through the same thing we did and we watched the manager fix there bill and go to the table and check on them definitely felt the discrimination I worked at McAllister in grandview for two years and assistant manager in Chicago for 3 years and belton is the worst makes...
