I have no issue with the quality of the food from papa Murphys. For being take and bake pizza, it's great! The one area that needs improvement is the accuracy of the employees making the orders. I entered my order correctly and the printed ticket that was on top of my pickup order showed that I entered what I wanted correctly too, which means the employee(s) who made my order saw how it was printed on the ticket. When I picked up my food, it wasn't busy so I'm not sure why who ever made my order didn't feel like reading the ticket so my food could be made correctly. Because of how burnt out I am at how literally EVERY fast food place in Belton that hires gen Z employees seems to literally either NEVER enter and/or make orders at restaurants correctly, I didn't feel like telling them yet again they got my order wrong and took the pizza as it was because of not feeling like waiting on them to remake 2 family size pizzas and a Cinnamon wheel pizza. I worked in fast food and restaurants in general for 8 and a half years, so I have in fact walked many miles in your shoes and know what it takes to do a good job. All it takes is actually caring about what you do and then you'll be surprised at how well you do your job accurately. I've worked with drug addicts, alcoholics, and former prison convicts during my time in the food industry that all took more pride in working hard and getting things right with their assigned tasks than the gen Z generation who is now the staff at every fast food restaurant in this town that for the life of them cannot take, make, or provide food orders correctly. It's because of this that I avoid eating at most places in Belton anymore, which is disappointing. If nothing else is taken away from this review, then care about making orders right for this reason above all else... it does matter that food orders are made accurately because you never know if someone is allergic to the incorrect toppings you mistakenly put on someone's food and could result in unnecessary health consequences for them should they accidentally and unknowingly eat something on their food they didn't expect...
Read moreThe app would not let me place order even though it worked fine to order from the Lee's summit location. I called and got out on hold immediately and was on hold for 14 minutes. After gotten minutes Trinity decide to hang up on me. I called back immediately and was put on hold again. All this while I'm driving to the Belton location. She finally had the courtesy to answer the phone and I explained I had been on hold for more than fifteen minutes and the app would not let me place an online order. She said the $8.00 special would be $9.00 some it was Thursday. I said I would like a $1.00; discount for my hold time and aggravation. Trinity said she would call her manager. I was pulling into the parking lot at this point and was still on hold again when I walked inside. She never called the manager but could give me the $1.00 of anyway. While I was there other people were put on hold when calling and then ignored for long times. It is sad how poorly this place runs out...
Read moreI've personally never had a problem with this location. Every single time I've been in here, the person preparing my pizza has always been friendly, and we've never had issues with defective pizzas or wrong orders. And the five-meat stuffed pizzas are delicious, not to mention filling -- you WILL have seconds unless there is a big party at your house.
For those people complaining about raw pizza: do understand. That's the entire concept of this chain: TAKE N' BAKE PIZZAS. It's right on the logo. You take it and YOU bake it, they don't do it in-store for you. All they do is assemble it so you can cook it to your own desired liking.
This may sound like a hassle, but in reality you are trading convenience for freshness. That factor goes way up because it will literally be at your house the moment it comes out of the oven. And if you have any extra toppings at home that you want to add on top before baking, nobody's gonna stop you or charge you...
