Raising Cane's Chicken — Restaurant in Belton

I really tried to walk into Raising Cane’s with an open mind. I’d heard people rave about it like it was some holy grail of chicken spots. Spoiler alert: it’s not. It’s just chicken fingers. That’s it. No nuggets, no wings, no variety — just the same bland strips of chicken with a side of disappointment.

Let’s start with the menu — or should I say, the lack of one. It’s basically: • Chicken fingers • Chicken fingers in a sandwich • Chicken fingers with a sad little piece of toast • Fries that taste like they gave up on life And that’s it. No spicy option. No BBQ. No ranch. Just some overrated sauce that tastes like ketchup mixed with mayo and regret.

The toast? Soggy and greasy. The fries? Limp and underseasoned. The chicken? Dry, flavorless, and straight-up boring. And the “Cane’s Sauce” everyone worships? Couldn’t even save the meal — it just made everything taste slightly more edible in the same way dipping cardboard in sauce might.

Also… who thought it was a good idea to build a whole restaurant around ONE item and not even do it exceptionally? Chick-fil-A is laughing in the background, and honestly, so am I — just not for the right reasons.

Final thoughts: If you want overpriced, uninspired food that looks like it came from a middle school cafeteria tray, Cane’s is your place. Otherwise, save your money and your taste buds.

Young ladies taking orders INCREDIBLY rude. Was on a road trip in a rush scrambling trying to take orders for 5 people. I forgot someone wanted a lemonade brought drink cup back up to the counter and received a mini lecture how i need to tell her up front because it’s an upcharge. I’m fine with paying the upcharge but why am I getting a talking to? I’m a paying customer in a fast food restaurant in a rush to get back on the road. Then food comes out and I realize I forgot to mention its to go. Again I get a lecture and I say isnt that on you as the employee to ask me what my drink orders are and if my order here or to go? Why am I getting all this back sass? Not to mention this doesn’t go without a bunch of bickering and giggling right in front of my face! Who taught these girls manners let alone customer service?! Unreal. Somebody needs to knock those girls 10 notches down because their egos are in the sky for a couple girls taking fast food orders. I apologized for forgetting to mention it, but shut up and give me my food I dont need...

My first visit was a good one. I had no idea what to order so I got a sandwich and fries. The people were much friendlier than most that work in fast food, and the chicken was really good. The fries were good and I was actually surprised by the flavor, especially being on a bun lol. If you have never been, and chicken fingers are your thing, you gotta check them out. I don't do the fast food thing much, but you earned another customer with your quality and service! I made a second visit with the wife here recently and got a couple 4 finger boxes in the drive thru. The voice on the speaker was kinda creepy A.I. voice. But it was quick, and the line moved steadily and fairly quickly for us. They passed us our drinks, took payment, and actually asked if we wanted any ketchup... and believe it or not, that simple question goods a long way with me being a ketchup fanatic lol. Bottom line, they're good... Really good! Food. Service. Attitude. You should give them a try and see...
