Coffee is fine and the service is also fine--- well, assuming you can get in and out in a decent amount of time.
When I arrived at 8:35 a.m., there was a woman in front of me having what appeared to be a heart-to-heart with a manager/assistant manager. Something was amiss with this customer's experience and rightfully, the manager/assistant was attempting to salvage a relationship.
Fine. I get that. But this was handled at the expense of other customers who had decided the drive thru, now lined up out to the street, was not an option they wanted and so went inside.
Once inside, I watched the exchange. Next to the manager was the employee who normally works that register where the manager and disgruntled customer were having their conversation. Next to that register was another register. Unused.
I get that they need to work with the customer. But that could have been done to the side, away from the register in use. Or, that second register could be stocked with funds enough in case of an emergency situation, as this was becoming just that. The employee waiting to get back to her register then could have seen the growing line, offered to move me and those behind me to the other register and moved us along, therefore not creating MORE disgruntled customers.
Seems an easy fix. Have worked retail, fast food and various customer service jobs most my young life so I will always point this kind of thing out when i feel the fix is a simple one. And, when we have the opportunity to be proactive rather than...
Read moreTitle: Hannah saved our lives!!! After being awake about 12 hours and then driving for the holidays, I was getting really tired and needed caffeine to help keep me awake on the long drive. Stopped at this location and was sooo thankful. Hannah was working the register and I asked for the impossible. Something super sweet with lots of caffeine. I don't like espresso and Hannah, the awesome trooper she is, came up with something similar to what she likes to drink. DANG!!! It was awesome! The drink kept me awake! Saved my family and I from a possible horrible accident on the highway. All the other employees were nice and friendly too! Next time we go through Belton, we will be stopping here. In 2024, we visited 32 different Starbucks in 15 different cities. I used to go to the Starbucks reserve in Chicago. They always had exceptional service. I would put this little Starbucks in Belton with Hannah against the monster Starbucks Reserve in Chicago any day. Hannah rocks. She is the best Starbucks employee I've met in 2024 and she deserves all the praise in the world. Thank you Hannah. You saved our lives and we are so grateful for you. Wish I had known we were going to stop here, would have brought you an Xmas gift. We owe you. Thank you so much.

Both Belton locations act like the other location is wrong and throw each other under the bus. The location off the highway 1 day will take cash all the way til close and another day won't take cash the last hour they are open, why? If you're open be open. I always order breve so it's creamier yet half the time I get my drink it tastes watered down like a different milk was used. I was a barista for the last 15 years so I kinda know the difference in milks and when I point it out that it doesn't taste like breve they tend to shrug their shoulders and ask if I need anything else (but don't offer to remake the drink even though I've only take a single drink out of it). Now today they ring it up differently (I know things change) but when I ask if it would taste the same she says yes and I get it and it's not the normal amount of peppermint and it again tastes watered down despite the fact that I ordered breve. I normally don't complain because I'm so picky anyways but with the amount of money I spend and the amount of tips I give I just want my drink to be consistent.
