Olivo Taco - Belvidere — Restaurant in Belvidere Township

Today I ordered six orders of tacos over the phone a lady picked up couldn’t understand my English so she stated my order would take 20 minutes to be ready I was their past 20 minute so I get their and my order isn’t ready people coming in would get their order first so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get my food and when I did the tacos were soaked in like grease , also two lemons I got with food looked lik thy were already squeezed not healthy to be selling like that. I called Rockford location to ask. To speak with owner they put me on hold and hung up I called back multiple times no answer so I called Belvidere location and the lady didn’t want to give me a number to get in contact with owner bad business very long wait food not healthy too greasy would like owner to contact me and see what. I’ve never had their food but December 25th, 2022 l was door dashing they forgot to turn off their app sue being closed for the holiday. I received a dash that late morning, I got to the restaurant walked up to the door and turned the knob and it was unlocked, lights were off, no sign saying they were closed for the holiday. I stopped at the door yelled inside saying hello anyone in here closed the door let door dash know and proceeded to call the Belvidere police department, I sat for almost an hour waiting for them to show so they wouldn’t get ransacked by someone due to the doors not being secured. Ordered and got home, they forgot 3 of my steak tacos. Tried to call the number on the receipt and the girl that answered said we weren’t calling Olivo. Great. My wife drove back and the girl working wanted her to bring all the food back! She also got upset when my wife tried pointing out that the number on the receipt wasn’t correct. The one steak taco I did get had very little steak and the tortilla was so soggy it fell apart. Wanted to give them a try as a new business in Belvidere, but never again, the other Mexican restaurants in town are definitely higher quality.
