Glitz Bakery — Restaurant in Benbrook

I ordered from J Rae’s for the first time this week. I was blown away by their service. We were hosting our annual Tacky Sweater Party @Skiniquemedspa. I’ve ordered cookies from Celebrity bakery and was happy the first order but disappointed last time. Decided to try J Rae’s after seeing photos and reviews. I emailed a week ahead late evening and got a reply from Mandy, the owner within an hour. Spoke to her the next morning with details and she was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. I told her someone else would be calling with a CC. Then had to call her back to let her know it would be the next day instead. She told me no problem, and even called to let me know the next day too. The cookies turned out AMAZING. Couldn’t be happier... except that they’re all gone and I want more! I had a custom cookie with our logo that was perfect! Not to mention, they were delicious. Our patients loved them! Huge hit. HIGHLY recommend. I already referred someone for her future...

J Rae's makes amazing sugar cookies. I haven't tried anything else and have no desire to because the sugar cookies satisfy and comfort!

Nicely decorated sugar cookies usually taste awful. They're dry, chalky, and lack flavor. J Rae's is the only nicely decorated cookie that tastes amazing. I discovered their goodness at TCU. They show some serious horned frog pride by doing many TCU displays. I had never been into the shop until recently.

It was just before close and they had some styles left themed for Valentine's Day. I picked a nice looking heart, not realizing it was the one of the largest sizes and therefore the most expensive! $4.50 is very expensive for one cookie. Hence, the four stars. The good thing was that I was able to savor it over two days. The cookies are soft, moist, and a little underbaked in the center- just the way I like them! They have an almond flavor that is just divine.

Be careful, these cookies are addictive. I highly recommend...

Sugar cookies always have different themes an taste great

I know people that don't do alot of sweets but they will eat the sugar cookies

The cupcakes I bought a 4 pack this time an passed them out to different people They enjoyed the treat all I heard was Mmmmmmm an they are very generous with the Icing

When I was checking out I noticed bags of two packed cookies Snickerdoodle,oatmeal raisin and chocolate chocolate chip .... it had a sign that said day old dollar something

I bought them an boy am I glad I did that Snickerdoodle cookie was one of the best I've ever had
