My husband is a giant fan of noodles dishes, so Genghis Grill is a place we find ourselves at a few times a year. Like the “Subway sandwich” of noodle dishes, Genghris Grill offeres multiple different appetizers, bowls and entrees that you customize yourself. You start by choosing your bowl size, then proteins, spices, veggies, sauces, sides, toppings and add ons. When you pick your bowl size, you are also required to choose your starch - udon noodles, fried rice, brown rice, white rice, rice noodles, cauliflower rice, grilled tortillas or cabbage. You may choose more than one for an up-charge. - [ ] Pros: For those who don’t wish to make their own bowl or who need some inspiration, you can find a helpful guide at the beginning of the line. Located on the wall, just before the food island, is a “Recipe Card” section filled with recipes to follow. It’s broken down into sections: Bold Flavors, Signature Bowls like Pad Thai, Healthy Options, Spicy and Bold recipes, Staff Picks and Milder Options suitable for kids. If there’s not a long line, I suggest you walk down the food islands to see what they offer so you’ll know what you’d like to add to design your custom bowl. At the end of the food line there are toppings for your bowl like peanuts, won ton strips, oriental crunchy noodles and sesame seeds. They used to be self serve, but you now have to ask for them. They arrive in small plastic cups located by the bar where they store the Siracha and soy sauces. Don’t forget the chop sticks! Cons: The size of the bowls have gotten much smaller and the prices have definitely increased. They now charge for adding Eggs to your noodle bowl and for choosing more than one starch - example: Noodles and Cauliflower Rice. These things are all options that were included with the cost of the bowl prior to Covid and add up quickly if you’re not careful! If you love noodles, we recommend Ghenghris Grill, but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s more like a fast food version of noodle bowls.

UPDATE- 7/2022: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ‼️ The food was awful and for their small bowl we paid $30 for two, not including drinks (TOTAL WASTE). The customer service was slothful and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal, even the African American Male Manager. With his authority, he has to understand you must ‘lead by example’. The tables and floors needed to be cleaned and even the food selection looked old and full of water, that had been soaking for days. Chan’s Mongolian Grill in North Richland Hills is Far better than this location, and it’s sad because in 2018/2019 I loved this location. Until they do a deep cleaning, fresh food, and better customer service, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU EAT HERE, especially since the prices are higher. I really like this location. It has a nice Upscale Feel to it, yet Cozy. There are plenty of options to choose from when stuffing your bowl, & right now for a limited time only, the bottomless bowls are back. The bottomless bowls are when you can go back as much as you like, but you can not take any leftovers home, & the bowls to fill, get smaller as you continue to go for another round. The waiters/waitresses are very polite and I have no complaints with the Customer Service. I do however wish they kept cleaner bathrooms (its disgusting‼) and I wish they gave you more noodles with your bowl selection. I also notice that there aren't any eggs on the bar selection, but maybe you have to ask for them, which is an inconvenience b/c there is no sign posted to do so. Other than that, I must say this location is worth visiting. No Genghis Grill to me compares to Kublai Khan in Southaven, MS, (5 stars All the way), but this location has a nice touch beyond the cons I mentioned. Pictured Here is the Lunch Bowl.

Do not be fooled by the food pictures . It looked great but was not .We went for a late lunch 1:30p . It was a very empty day. There were only 2 other parties dining . 2 people who were already there and a couple that walked in the exact same time as us. There were 4 of us . We were greeted in a timely manner However that was the best part of the experience . We weren’t checked on after the “order” was placed . My mom had to go ask for a drink refill . When we went to wash our hands before eating the bathroom had water all over the place . The floor was super wet , but not from being mopped from the bathroom sink , no wet floor sign and it was as soon as you walk in. The trays to grab your items to fill your bowl were dirty and sticky , as if they haven’t been wiped down at all . When we received our bowls we thought okay let’s over look these issues . . Nope. The Steak and Chicken both tasted like old meat that was not kept at the correct temperature and resulted in it tasting old . it’s truly never okay for anyone to consume. It was also very warm and muggy inside the restaurant . Overall not a good experience . I will never return to this location . Also a side note : There were about 6 people on shift that I saw. 3 appeared To be servers 1 bus boy 1 toppings coordinator (?) and 1 chef , With this much staff and only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant there is no reason any of these issues should have occurred . Someone should have been wiping the trays , Cleaning the bathrooms and ensuring the establishment was ready for business .

Place lacks cleanliness * I caught covid here, I never leave the house, I work from home and this was the only place I been to in about a week the very next day it was horrible feeling so I took a test and sure enough I got covid. I should of left from the jump. In 4 years I never had covid so its not something I have ever experienced. My husband and I went to eat there this evening about 730. We waited to be seated although there was not a busy crowd and once we were seated we weren't given anything but napkins. Waited for about 10 minutes before our waitress said anything to us and once she finally did was after another couple came in and she seated them with napkins silverware and menus. When we finally ordered our meals from the online menu she looked at us and said is this together? I thought nothing of it and said yes. It yook 30 minutes for our meals to be made, we almost left at this point since my husbans food was sitting on the counter for about 5 minutes. And the couple after us was served within 5 minutes of us. I got up to get our own silverware, as the wait staff was in the back of the store laughing and joking. Just a weird experience. My husband who's black brought it to my attention that we were the only mixed couple in the resturant. And our waitress was practically non existing during our meal when she was out talking to other customers. He was actually mad that she looked at us and asked if our order was together or separate when she didn't ask any other table that same question according to him. He doesn't want to go back to this location, food is good but warm not served hot if sitting on the...
