Club Pilates — Local services in Fort Worth

I’ve just read a review a lady wrote about the exact same experience I had. So I guess this is a common thing at this studio. It’s about the 30 day cancellation policy and minimum 3 months membership. As you can see it says nothing about minimum 3 months on the membership info. I also looked through emails, texts.. nothing! I went in and asked the girls up front and said “I want to cancel my subscription” exactly, they said I have to pay another 2 months because they have a 30 day notice policy, I said I was not informed of this policy. When I first started my membership she just took my card and that was that, no explanation of any policy! So when I told the girls this they acted as if I was lying and said they can’t do anything for me. One of them said: well how do you not know of the policy if you just said right now “im giving my 30 day notice” WHAT?!?! I didn’t say this!! I said I want to cancel my subscription.. what is going on??? Are they seriously putting words into my mouth? Ridiculous! It’s so sad because the classes are nice and the instructors as well but the girls at the front desk were just so unprofessional and rude. If they were nicer maybe I would’ve considered doing the 3 months, but now.. I never want to go in again. Please be careful before you go here, they are not helpful nor professional whatsoever.. you’ll lose a bunch of money. So just so you all know, since obviously they don’t tell you: THEY HAVE A 30 DAY NOTICE POLICY, IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR JUST ONE MONTH, YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM NOTICE ON THE FIRST DAY YOU START. I joined Club Pilates about 2 weeks ago. Since I stepped foot in the door, I have been so welcomed by everyone from the incredibly kind staff to the members. This started as a workout routine for me to help with tone, flexibility, and my anxiety and is quickly becoming a lifestyle change. I absolutely love everything about Club Pilates. Not only am I feeling better, but I am noticing differences already. The instructors truly care about every member and are so quick to help guide you during every lesson. Plus they are so encouraging! I have worked out in gyms and done other forms of exercise, but that felt like a chore. Pilates is fun and rewarding! The staff at Club Pilates makes you want to work hard and keep coming back. They are a 10 for me! It is worth every penny. I get excited to go to my lessons and can't wait to hit 100 lessons to sign that board on their wall. I can't thank them enough for their kindness, support, and friendliness. If anyone is debating on joining, to me it is a must!!! I am so happy with my choice and can't wait to see how I progress. I truly have always hated working out and getting all sweaty and gross but Pilates has changed that for me! The studio is usually pretty chilly which is great because as soon as you get warmed up it feels amazing and I can usually go right to work after! I love that you get a full body stretch and work out, it’s like yoga but more strength building. I always feel just the right amount of challenged and the instructors are so helpful and nice, I’m not sure I could pick a favorite. Something to be aware of however is the studios $10 cancellation fee if you can’t make it without 12 hours notice which is totally fair but I have chronic back pain that flares up randomly and have been burned by this a few times. I’m a very frugal person and Pilates is already a splurge for me so when I have to pay the cancellation fee on top of being in pain it’s very frustrating.
