Really quite disappointed. Neapolitan pizza is about my favorite food so I was excited to hear there is an “authentic Neapolitan pizzeria” in Bend. The Margherita comes in two sizes, prices being $18/$22. So that’s the first thing is the price is really too high for what it is in my opinion, if it was a fancier restaurant I wouldn’t complain but it’s a basic pizza shop. Second is that the crust is simply just not a true Neapolitan, the core isn’t floppy it was crispy throughout. There were no clumps of mozzarella, nor was there whole basil leaf. It just wasn’t a Neapolitan margherita pizza. If you are a fan of that crispy wood fired or whatever pizza then that’s fine but I don’t think it’s cool to advertise this pizza shop as a Neapolitan pizzeria. All that said it was a good pizza, not amazing but it was good, just not at all what I came in for.

It appears that this place is going through some growing pains. This review is for a takeout order. I placed an online order (I don't recommend this), which was supposed to be ready for pickup in 20 - 35 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later and was told that it would be another 45 minutes before it would be ready. I wanted to cancel my order, but they said that if I wanted a refund, I would have to take it up with Menufly. At this point, I left and came back 50 minutes later. My order was ready except for the wings, which would be another 7 minutes. When I got home, the pasta was lukewarm with bread that had been packaged with the pasta and was soggy. The wings were soggy on the outside and raw in the middle.

My family and I were staying in the Bend area for a few days and we were craving some pizza so we came into this joint and we were really impressed. In fact, we liked it so much, we came in 2 nights in a row. We ordered "le margherite," the "regina margherita" and the "pistacchio." SOOO GOOD! The crust is delicious -- yummy and chewy and you can tell they're using fresh and quality ingredients. They even do a great job with the salads. We always have to have some veggies/greens, so we ordered the "mixed salad" along with the pizzas and that was very good as well. We are extra selective and picky and this place really knows how to do a damn good pizza. Thank you!

This pizza is fantastic! Specifically the crust. Absolutely no complaints on toppings and sauce. I’m not going to beat them up like a jackass for a few black spots on the bottom or for the pizza appearing limp when held in hand. They were super overwhelmed last night and we ended up waiting quite a while for our to go order. They ended up buying us a beer while we waited which was really nice. Our order did get goofed up a bit and we got 1 large and 2 small pizzas when we ordered 2 large and 1 small. Didn’t even realize this until we returned home 🤦🏼‍♂️ I called the store and the call went straight to vm (assuming that was because they were overloaded with calls and orders as it was). I left a message regarding the situation and hoping to hear back today sometime. It sounds like they’ve been open for less than a month and are still working things out logistically. If you give them a try, keep this in mind and be patient and kind if you have to wait longer than expected. And if you know what’s good for you, confirm your order before leaving the store with it! Atmosphere was lacking a little bit but again, they just opened so they get a free pass. Maybe paint the wall behind the tv or something so it’s not shockingly bright white. Regardless, I can’t wait to return next...

We ordered the Fiesta Asada pizza for me, because I am allergic to bell peppers and bell peppers were not listed anywhere on the ingredients. Guess what, we get it here and it's covered in bell peppers. Bell peppers are the largest allergen outside of tree nuts (look it up, lazy Fat Tony's owners), and yet they don't even put it on the menu that it's an ingredient. So we're throwing this pizza away, and not only that, we ordered tiramisu with two pizzas, and they did not provide it. So good luck with this place, they are clearly a mess in the kitchen. And not only that, ownership should be ashamed of themselves for not listing bell peppers, the number one allergen in the fruit family, as an ingredient. If someone like me where to get really sick and then sue them, they would lose. Hands-down. That's a flagrant violation of food ethics. Imagine if I was a kid, with a babysitter who was told that Bell peppers would send me into anaphylactic shock, so he/she orders this pizza thinking it's all good. And being young, the sitter is busy on the phone and just hands over the pizza. The kid goes into shock, can't breathe, and dies. Nice...

About 2 months ago I was hoping to get a slice, had seen somewhere (maybe Google review?) that slices were available here. I grew up down the street and was excited at the prospect of a slice shop in my neighborhood. Wasn’t the case, so I just ordered a small pizza. The inside was seemingly under construction (I hope). The pizza was so exceedingly average, like literally nothing remarkable about it, could have come from some nameless pizza joint in just about anywhere in the country. It was kind of expensive too. Definitely a let down cuz the old restaurant that used to be in this space was a beloved institution of Old Bend.

I’m guessing this place is banking on vacationers staying in the area looking for food and drinks nearby, maybe hoping to catch a few boozed up folks from the brewery tasting room across the road. I won’t be going back, homegrown locals know the real Bend...
