Such a great experience! Great drinks! Fun atmosphere. My boyfriend and I sat at a table under a ceiling of notes other patrons have left. We read quotes, jokes and advice from people who sat at that table before us. I don't know anywhere else you can do that. And with an amazing cocktail?! Such a fun night walking around the campus too. 100% date night hot spot! Loved it.

Awesome bar! ....if you can find it! I mean, what more needs to be said? It's Mcmenamins! Always good food, great atmosphere! This is definitely a go to place every time I'm in Bend. Stayed here twice and if you plan ahead you can get some great deals. Definitely take advantage of the PASSPORT - the free prizes after the treasure hunts are lots of fun! #TryARuby

First you'll have to find the place...once you do, you'll enjoy the eclectic and funky atmosphere, the tunes are killer, the vibe even better, and oh boy...their drinks will satisfy your quench. Colorful and delicious! What a fun time once we found the damn place. Highly recommend the effort! Good luck!

The experience of finding this little speakeasy is harder than you may think but once you do, you would at least think it would be rewarding at the end right? Wrong. A buddy of mine and I went on a Saturday early evening and after finding it we proceeded to stand in line while the older woman bartender chatted up some patron which based on their conversation maybe they were old friends or former coworkers. Unfortunately after watching her take almost 15 min to make one drink for this gal and her group and never once being acknowledged. We decided to just leave. To not once be acknowledged because you're too busy in some juicy conversation just doesn't come across and very professional or customer service friendly. 3 patrons then proceeded to sneak in behind my buddy and I and rudely take the table that had just opened up. I really want to like this place, but honestly it was the worst cocktails I’ve ever had!

Like most McMenamins in Oregon, it has an amazingly funky and fun aesthetic. Also, like most McMenamins in Oregon, the food, booze, and service are awful.

The Broom Closet itself is cool in that it had this secret, speak-easy feel to it in the hidden room. But the “Old Fashioned” we were served was literally so bad it was undrinkable. We sent both of ours back but never got our reorder so we eventually left.

This would be a one star review if McMenamins itself wasn’t so darn cool. Dang it McMenamins, I really want to like you...

Don’t go here if you’re sober they won’t serve you. Edit: full story We went in and they started serving us. Really cool place. All of a sudden they said someone in our party is being cut off even though they were more sober than the people they were serving. (Including a bridesmaids group FYI). And THEN the bartender went down and cut everyone off from the bar below even though they were serving us just fine before we went there? I would TOTALLY understand if we were all hammered but she served everyone who was more intoxicated than the girl she cut off. Rude and...
