Ok, so I just went there a couple of days ago, to go fly my drone, and holy cow, it was beautiful, the fall colored trees, and the still water, I'm going to go back to Drake park whenever I can, and see if I can capture some photos and footage with my drone. This place is awesome! The colors are amazing, especially in the morning when it's cold outside, and nobody's around. Anyone that stops into Drake park is in for a real treat, so I would recommend this spot to anyone, especially in the fall, colors are just amazing, it's such a great experience, especially In the morning, that's when anyone should go down there to admire the colors of the trees, and what's nice is, when you go down in the morning, there isn't dogs barking, people being crazy, all there is, is traffic, cars going by, people walking down the path, or no people. But anyway, I will tell you right now, Drake park is the place to go with someone for a romantic walk, that's for sure. I would say there is nothing better to do then to go to Drake park for a morning walk. I went down to Drake park one morning to take a photo, and the photo totally blew up my social media profile, so tip for professional photographers, go in the early morning, and wait for the right moment to take the perfect picture, anyone out there who's a professional photographer, and wants some fall photos, start at Drake park. I guarantee it, you'll be happy with...

I've always loved this park, events at this park are always busy but worth it. This park some how makes it very easy to either meet new people, playing a game of soccer or frisbee, walk the family pet, or fade away into meditation in any of the many quiet beautiful area within the park. This park also holds many famous events like Munch'n'music, pole peddle paddle, or the symphony concert fundraiser event, along with the many local celebrations like Earth Day, Juneteenth, and the different parades that use downtown and the park as the route. The new and improved beach and launch area at the south end of the park apart of the restoration project at the park have made it so much easier for entry and withdraw from the river so much easier along with being esthetically pleasing. The only thing that has always plagued this park is the lack of parking available when events are going on and the neighborhood surrounding the park has clamped down on parking on the narrow streets. The park is very clean and has easy access to restrooms and picnic areas. Always something going on here. Have...

It is a beautiful park spanning a decent sized area with walkways (paved trails), benches, tables, restrooms, and outlets at the small stage. Many trees and shade, as well as sunny/exposed areas. The views of the river are gorgeous, and it is nice to have waterfowl to observe. The biggest downside is the droppings near everywhere as you get closer to the river. It is only an issue if fresh, wet, and you have smaller children wanting to play. The same is true with those in wheelchair using the paved trail along the river (parts still in construction).

i think we got real lucky here. i took this pics last week and it felt like the first real spring day, you know what i mean? It wasnt windy, the light breezes almost felt warm, so sunny and people were all on awful good moods! if you’re visiting Bend, I definitely recommend you to make a quick stop here especially on weekends when they have live music and little artisanal booths selling art, jewelry and other local goodies! #visitBend
