It is a beautiful park spanning a decent sized area with walkways (paved trails), benches, tables, restrooms, and outlets at the small stage. Many trees and shade, as well as sunny/exposed areas. The views of the river are gorgeous, and it is nice to have waterfowl to observe. The biggest downside is the droppings near everywhere as you get closer to the river. It is only an issue if fresh, wet, and you have smaller children wanting to play. The same is true with those in wheelchair using the paved trail along the river (parts still in construction).

i think we got real lucky here. i took this pics last week and it felt like the first real spring day, you know what i mean? It wasnt windy, the light breezes almost felt warm, so sunny and people were all on awful good moods! if you’re visiting Bend, I definitely recommend you to make a quick stop here especially on weekends when they have live music and little artisanal booths selling art, jewelry and other local goodies! #visitBend

Drake Park in Bend, Oregon, is an absolute gem! The serene Deschutes River, meandering pathways, and vibrant greenery create a stunning natural haven. It's perfect for leisurely strolls, picnics, or simply unwinding by the water. The iconic Mirror Pond reflects the breathtaking surroundings, adding to its allure. Whether for outdoor activities, family outings, or peaceful contemplation, Drake Park's beauty is truly awe-inspiring.

Bend is not a real town. It was created by a wish from an innocent child. It's like by law - everyone and everything have to be cute. I will not be surprised if their mayor is a bunny in a chick suit sitting in a pumpkin. This park is no exception. The river is cute, the ducks are cute, the geese (who are supposed to be mean) are cute, and all the cute people are walking their cute little dogs.

This is one of my favorite, and probably the most famous park in Bend, there's plenty of benches, tables for picnics, and beaches along the river. Look for historical pieces as well! This is also the main place where floaters get out off the river. You can ride the bus for $4 all day, it will bring you up to RiverBend park. The bus begins its season around June 15th. See you on the river!!

Drake Park is a very comfortable and easy walk from Downtown Bend and should definitely be checked out. It is abundant with natural beauty and offers a chance to see families of ducks and geese. There are great “photo ops” here with the majestic Mount Bachelor rising in the background. Especially with Mirror Pond. Great for the whole family, furry family included.
