I wanted to try Nanu's cause I love Dave's and Asad's hot chicken so much. The menu at each place is pretty much identical. I ordered a hot sandwich and my fiance ordered medium. I wish that the fries had some sort of seasoning on them. They were very plain. The sandwich was absolutely huge. That is one really good thing I can say about the food is that you get a good amount for the value that you pay. We did notice though that there was no spice to either sandwich. That was very odd. I said something to the guy working at the counter to see if maybe we could get some of their spicy powder on the side to add to our sandwich ourselves. He was a bit puzzled and went back to the chef to discuss what was going on. They offered to remake us a whole meal with more seasoning and said they couldn't give me the seasoning on the side. I thought that was very nice of them but also felt like that was way too complicated for the situation. Times are tough for everyone and the food is good quality, I did not want it to go to waste just because it wasn't perfect. He then decided that he could put some of the seasoning in a sauce cup and mix it with their side sauce. I thought that was a good idea on the fly that he thought of to mediate the situation. It honestly worked and I added some of the sauce on my sandwich and it made a big difference for me. My fiancé felt the same way. The food was decent and everything but the no spice really killed it for me I think. I appreciated the willingness to try to fix it but for my first time it just wasn't what I was hoping for. I'm giving four stars though because I really appreciated him thinking outside of the box for me and also offering to...

Staff was awesome & welcoming!
The food is definitely good! However, I’m completely appalled with the amount of “sauce” they put on my platters. So much so, I stopped eating to write a review! Everyone comes for the “sauce”, no reason I should be using 3 extra containers on 1 platter!
Another critique; The gentlemen behind the counter are scrambling to get orders out the door. Seemed like a very painstaking process for both the employees & customers.
Again, they just opened, so these things are expected. I DO NOT intend to business bash, by any means, I simply just want to give some constructive feedback from a customer’s point of view! I will update my review during my next visit!

I’ve been here a few times since & it’s improved immensely! Food is always fresh, and tasty. Service is generally slow with or without a crowd. All in all, I’d recommend over Asads! Will definitely return...

I had a fantastic experience at Nanu’s Hot Chicken in Bensalem, PA! I placed a lunch order for two of my coworkers and accidentally submitted it to their Philadelphia location instead. When I arrived to pick it up and realized the mix-up, the staff at the Bensalem location went above and beyond—they told me it was no problem and kindly made our order on the spot since we had already paid. That’s top-notch customer service!
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the chicken tenders and fries (combo #3 and #6), and everything was cooked to perfection—crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The presentation was great, and the portions were solid. We also tried their pineapple smoothies, which were incredibly refreshing and made with real fruit. You could taste the freshness in every sip!
Overall, Nani’s Hot Chicken is well worth the trip. Great food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality...
