Singas Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

I love the food because it reminds me of my favorite pizza place when I lived in NY. However, the service is really really bad. There are days when you try to call in, the phone is disconnected and you can’t do anything about it. There have been times I called in an order and was told 15-20 minutes, I get there and the pizza takes another 30 minutes to get ready. So a total of almost 45 minutes to an hour to get my pizzas. If the place was mobbed or I saw them making 10 pizzas, I wouldn’t complain, but this is while I’m the only customer there and no other pizzas are being worked on. This has happened to me many times. I really wanted to write a good review because I want the place to stick around, but with the service being this bad I’m not sure they will. I want to recommend this spot to my friends and family but I don’t because I know there is a high likelihood that their experience will not be good. I would give less than 3 stars if I didn’t feel nostalgic over the food. Hopefully whoever owns the place reads this and gets things in order. If you order here 10 times, 8 times out of the 10 you will have a bad experience with the service.

EDIT (12/14/2022): they always have new people working, the consistency of the sauce and cheese is never the same. i’ve recommended the employees multiple times to have a scoops for light/normal/more cheese, but they prefer to go by their assumption. typically, i’ll get normal cheese in jersey, but normal cheese in bensalem is not eatable at all and the pizza looks totally white. not sure if it’s the type of cheese they use here or there’s no standard.

EDIT (12/13/2022): i’m taking away 2 stars because what’s the point of the phone if the restaurant staff is going to put the phone on the side? we like to order ahead, so we don’t have to wait as a family, but they continue to do this on week day nights.

also, they continue to be stingy about the sauce and toppings.

If I could give thos place 0 stars I would. Walk in and the 2 employees behind the counter were sitting on their phones. No greeting or anything. I place my order for 3 personal buys with 2 toppings on each and an order of fries. We get told it will be 8 -10 minutes we say ok and sit down. 35 minutes later he finally says our food is ready. I ask where the fries are he says oh let me make them. Another 15 minutes goes by the fries are ready. The pies tasted like they were frozen and reheated, I had bacon on 1 of the pies and it wasn't even real bacon. It almost looked like they ground bacon bits into a powder and put it on it. Then i askef if they had to go boxes to put leftovers in and im told no just bring them to us. Then they proceed to touch my food woth no gloves and put it in bags. Yes you heard that correct bags not boxes. I would not recommend them. Theu should change there name from famous pizza to frozen mediocre pizza at best. Stay away...
