In a recent order multiple items were purchased, one of which was the 'Ultimate Meatball Marinara':
One item was correct and tasted ok
Second item was not only incorrect but had such a bad aftertaste that it was inedible and had to be thrown away. Extra sauce asked for and was provided.
Below you will see a pic of the incorrect item that was actually received. Compared to what is shown on the Subway website menu and you will see a significant difference. You'll notice the wrong bread was used for the sandwich chosen, the size of the meatballs provided was almost half of that indicated in the Subway menu picture, as well as the lack of cheese.
To be fair this seems to be the norm for most places these days but I've decided to make it my mission (small as it may be) to start calling it out when it happens rather than allow it to continue unchecked.
Maybe at some point it will be considered unacceptable to advertise one thing and receive another, I know what a...
Read moreStopped in this past Friday evening. This used to be a pretty good Subway location. Staff looked miserable and were not friendly to customers. Was yelled at by staff b/c I was accused of cutting ahead of another customer when that customer wasn’t standing at the “order here” area. The other customer was standing off to the side looking at the menu.
I also noticed the staff are cutting the vegetables extremely thin to pinch pennies. As a result of this, my sub wasn’t enjoyable due to not being able to taste the extremely sliced thin cucumbers, green peppers, & onions. It appears the owner is being cheap to pinch pennies b/c the veggies were never like this before.
Due to the miserable/unfriendly staff, along with having a horrible sub, I’ll be heading to the Subway inside the Walmart in Bensalem, moving forward. You’ve now lost a regular customer of at least 10 years. If this Subway wasn’t located at a busy intersection, they’d already be closed. Stay away from this...
Read moreI went in to purchase two footlong subway sweet onion teriyaki chicken subs with a newspaper coupon I cut out for 2 foot long subs for 13.99. The woman working behind the counter told me that I could only choose certain sandwiches from a different menu and that I couldn’t order those sandwiches with the coupon. Mind you, the coupon mentioned no restrictions on what I could order inside. I was forced to order the sandwiches online using a different deal which was more expensive than the coupon I had. While waiting for my order, it crossed my mind to see if I could use the coupon online when ordering since it also had a code printed on the coupon. I then proved my suspicion by being able to order the same sandwiches online through the subway website using the coupon she told me I could not use. I feel as though the woman had no idea of what she was talking about or she expected me to be ignorant and pay full...
