Read moreI went to this store today to return three items from Amazon. I informed the cashier that I wanted to return the items. Right away, I could tell she was in a bad mood. She said, we can return one of them to Amazon here, but one has to be returned to the UPS store and one has to be returned to Whole Foods in Jenkintown, miles away. I didn’t know that when I scheduled a return with Amazon, there were different return sites to choose from; I just assumed you could return all purchases at Staples.
I asked, how can I change the return site, she never volunteered to tell me how to do that. So she was very annoyed that I insisted on taking the time to go on the website and change the return location. She successfully returned two of the items, but insisted I had to return the third one to a UPS store.
She gives me a receipt that says one item was returned. I asked her, where is the receipt for the second item? She says, the computer isn’t working and, besides, look, another cashier is already using the computer. I said, I still want a receipt for the second item. She says, Unbelievable! I waited five minutes near her cashier desk until I got an email receipt from Amazon. I told her, I am not unbelievable. Just do your job and stop being so rude.

Read moreBuddy and I went in to the self print area. Needed to use the paper slicer. Spent over 10 minutes trying to get someone’s attention, politely saying excuse me and getting ignored. Finally after the one older women turned our direction and had no other choice but to answer me when I said we needed to use the paper slicer and they weren’t on the table, so we wanted to see if we could use the one on the counter. She said “no” and began to walk away. She said while facing away from us that “they should be on the table but people steal them”. And instead of offering to use the store slicer for us, as we had one thing to be sliced, or even offer us a pair of scissors, she just walked away and continued to ignore us. The guy behind the counter also said he would be right with us about halfway through, but answered the phone and even after ending the call just acted as though we weren’t there.
