I like Domino’s pizza but I will never buy another pizza from the one in Benton Harbor. My husband was in the emergency room for hours so I placed an order online. When I was alerted that my pizza would be ready in 8-10 minutes, I left the hospital to pick it up. When I got there, a young man told me they forgot to add chicken on my pizza and if I would wait another 9-10 minutes, they will make me another one. I decided to be patient and wait in the parking lot. 20 minutes passed, so I looked at my alert which showed the pizza was not in the oven. So I called from the parking lot only to be told that my pizza was ready. I drove up to the window and the young lady handed me a cold pizza. I asked to speak to the manager, who turned out to be the owner named Dave Turner. He didn’t offer me an apology, nothing for the inconvenience, only to make me another pizza or give me my money back. I explained that I needed to get back to the hospital with my husband and I wasn’t about to wait for them to make me a third pizza. My point is that, Dave Turner, showed no sympathy or even cared that my time was completely wasted. What ever happened to customer satisfaction? He could have at least offered a discount for the error they made. He walked away and left me at the window. I called the restaurant from the window and asked to speak to the manager. He came to the phone and just hung it up. I had to go I inside to return the pizza and get my money back. Dave opens the box at least three times. I guess he was trying to see if I did anything to the pizza. Even if I did, who’s going to eat a pizza a customer returned? He still didn’t say he was sorry for the inconvenience. He sat my receipt on the counter, turned and walked away quickly. I’m glad I decided to get my money back. Why would I pay anyone to be rude to me. I’m a lab manager and I feel sorry for his employees. I wouldn’t want to even work for him. What a shame. He shouldn’t be...
Read moreThis will be the 2nd time I have had the incorrect pizza made. The first experience was the incorrect sauce, we ordered the spinach, cheese, alfredo pizza, with bacon and tomatoes. We got spinach, cheese, marinara, bacon and tomatoes. Call up, explain the issue, get a new one delivered, 30min later. (it was noon, so I'm not upset about that.) This one shows up... right sauce! no toppings. Like none. Call up again, wait 30min for another pizza.. success! Today, ordered 2 more pizzas, EXACT same kind, except one has only bacon for the topping. I'm in rush to make an appt, grab the pizzas, drop them off at home, rush to my appt, go back home, open up the pizza top and yep.. WRONG sauce on BOTH pizzas. Now, the pizzas tasted just fine, they just weren't what I ordered. I also live a good 15 miles away and really didn't want to drive all the way back to "hopefully" get the correct pizzas. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the online ordering, but there is for sure a miscommunication somewhere. I did double check and make sure I ordered correctly before calling, and the people were very nice and apologetic about it. I will continue to order from them, but I'll for sure check them before I leave the building or the...
Read moreSo I order online ahead of time. I work third shift. By the time I got to the store after being told 35 mins I got there and waited in store for 3 hours. Watched customers get cussed at by employees. Watched orders get messed up while customers are getting cussed, employees not only took ALL phones off the hook to stop them from tuning with unhappy customers and deliveries, but disconnected them from the phone cords entirely, which is a handful of violations against the State of Michigan code. This place needs to be shut down again unfortunately until they can get proper training and management. Not to mention, the one cook had a tracheotomy hole in his throat while making my food, and they mentioned over the phone $75 but charged me $98 dollars. Put an extra pizza in my order, didn’t tell me about but charged me for it and couldn’t even give me a discount or free soda or anything because that seems only fair for those who wait for four hours or longer. I won’t discriminate against disabilities in anyway but he shouldn’t be working with raw dough and ingredients due to the health hazard of saliva possibly getting...
