McDonald's — Restaurant in Benton Charter Township

First of all it took every single car 3 to 4 minutes at the window. They weren't even that busy. I ordered on the app and whenever I pulled up, the person said we're out of tea sweet and unsweet. How lazy are you to not go throw a tea bag in the pot and run some tea? So then I finally get up to the window and there are four cars ahead of me, it takes almost 20 minutes. I see a guy bring the tea container. I said hey what kind of tea is that and she said we're out. Total attitude! Unnecessary at that because I'm very nice. She said what do you want besides tea? I said I'll take a coke. She gave me a Diet Coke! I didn't know until I was on the interstate that she gave me a Diet Coke or I would have went straight back. I get very ill if I drink aspartame sucralose. And to begin with I ordered a sweet tea, then a coke. And I didn't get either one of those instead I got some nasty diet coke. I'm sure the owners could care less but I won't be back to this place ever again. Burger King and Wendy's are close by and they're both better and don't pull this s* ever! The manager needs to train people to not be so lazy. There was no excuse for there not being tea of any...

I didn't know it was possible for a McDonald's to be run so poorly. They had around 12 employees in the kitchen area, but only a few were actually working. Most of the time they were just arguing with each other. I ordered at the kiosk. All the kiosks were out of paper, so you have no idea what your order number is. No one was helping the customers trying to order at the counter. After waiting for more than 30 minutes for my food I asked one of the employees if my order was anywhere close, "He looked at the app for a half second and said it should be up soon." It took me another 5 minutes to flag down another employee to help. She took the phone to check, and we realized our order had never even been started. They switched from breakfast to lunch in the 40+ minutes we were waiting in the lobby, so they weren't able to make our order. They gave us 2 old breakfast sandwiches that had been sitting out from messed up previous orders. They didn't bother making the coffee. We both took 1 bite out of sandwiches and tossed the rest. Looking at the other reviews for this location, it appears my experience is not out of the ordinary. How is this...

The employees at the McDonald's on Pipestone Rd in Benton Harbor Michigan are EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to the customers. They refuse to give us our orders even though the food is sitting on the counter where we can see it. They still refuse to hand us our food. They are viciously mean, rude and disrespectful. They talk to and treat customers with the utmost disrespect. I am going to refuse to patronize this location anymore. And the worst part is that all of these nasty attitudes and interactions are completely unnecessary. Just be professional and give me the food that I paid for. Simple. Whatever you're angry about has nothing to do with the customers. Also, if you go to ANY other McDonald's in Berrien County, it is amazing how much of a night and day difference the customer service is compared to the Benton Harbor McDonald's. They treat me with respect, professionalism and basic human decency. At the McDonald's in Benton Harbor, they treat me as if I've somehow wronged them on a personal level and now this is their opportunity to get revenge for whatever reason they are angry...
