Peking Buffet — Restaurant in Benton

I'm sorry to have to post this. Today was our first time to eat at this restaurant. I ordered off of the menu because I have food allergies. I only ordered steam vegetables with white rice and told the waitress several times that I cannot have anything with soy in it, oil, sauces, ect. They didn't season the vegetables, but I called her back to alert her that I thought it had oil in it and would she please check. Even though she had a nice attitude, she refused to check and told me that there was absolutely no oil added. She continued to insist that they were ONLY STEAMED veggies with nothing added. I thought that maybe I was over reacting and ate more of the food. After a bit, I thought I was beginning to feel side effects. It's been about 7 hours now that I've been sick. I don't believe it was a full soy oil, but a blend that probably contains soy or a seed oil which I can react to a well. I actually had tried to tell her about the seed oil, but she wasn't understanding. I figured that since it was all going to be steamed, I would be OK. I'm writing so that maybe they will take these types of requests more seriously! Some people could end up worse than myself. Otherwise, the food was good. The food was food! The egg drop soup I think that's what it's still called was oily 😔 I love that soup. They had maybe a 4 cup serving in each dish. Which I understand don't waste but it drys out before its used. The place really needed a GOOD GOOD CLEANING!!!!!!! Take down those light shade & scrub them clean from the grease & dust lent 😲 please clean the vents take them off scrub them. The waitress was VERY dry sleepy tired idk UNTIL she found out she had a decent tip. Then it was clear English & smiles & take your time. This was my first time going there. Found this when I pushed explore the area on maps. I'll try this place again maybe they'll improve. I won't tell anyone to eat here until I go back & see how they improve if they improve. Give them a chance to fix things don't just call infectious control or the health...

The food here was actually very good with a solid taste to it, but where the problem arises is with the service we received, me and my buddy went there for lunch today and the server seemed to be a nice lady at that time until the time to pay for the meal, we said we will go to the counter and pay like we usually have done in the past, she then rudely comes up to the table and starts counting the cash we had left out there even though we had said we was going to the counter. She then starts complaining to us about our tip we had left for her, (I left five dollars for a 9 dollar meal). She then proceeds to ask for more money from me and is extremely confrontational and rude. She then gives very dirty looks on the way out of the restaurant.
