The Buzz Cafe — Restaurant in Benton

We made our first visit to the "The Buzz" to find out what all of the buzz was about. It started with the ambiance of a sweet cafe decorated with love. The smell of fresh coffee delights the senses as soon as you open the door. We were greeted by Lee, the owner of this little gem, at the register. She helped us with the menus and explained the order at the counter process. The menu is full of unique sandwiches, daily soups, and all of your favorite salads. Everything sounded so good that it took a while to decide. We ordered 3 different 1/2 sandwiches with a pickle and chips, chicken dumping soup, and a salad. We left nothing on our table except for a few chips. The servers work hard preparing your order and deliver them to your table. They also worked as a team to promptly refill drinks and clear the tables off. Gratuity is appreciated, I'm sure. Sorry I didn't get pictures because it all looked so good we couldn't wait. If I did anything different, I would have saved room for bread pudding. Sigh, next time, I'll take...

We stopped in here in the morning after staying at the Benton Motel overnight. This was a very friendly, homey small town restaurant. The wait staff was kind and seemed to know many of the customers. It was like going to your friend or families house as opposed to a restaurant. As far as the food, my wife loved her coffee. She said her breakfast was the best meal we had on our 4 day trip. She had an omelette in a spinach wrap. I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant sandwich. It always was very delicious. We got a frosted cookie and chocolate brownie for the road. Went there for lunch and got a sandwich, soup and pastry. The soup was delicious..mushroom and brie..wish I got more! The sandwich was pretty good too and pastry was very good. I tried my husband's sandwich that had ceasar dressing and it tasted very good and homemade. I liked the casual artsy vibe although I didnt see the childrens books they talked about that I wanted to look at. Overall great fresh soup and pastry, sandwich was good.
