WARNING!!!
My wife took a brand new ring (still in the box) that I purchased for her into this Kay's to be resized. They told her it would be approximately 2 weeks. 1 week later, they called to tell her that her ring was lost. "We don't know what happened. Possibly a UPS driver stole it. We just don't know but we are sorry." My wife told the Kay Manager, Lauren (I think), that we just wanted to be reimbursed for the value stated on my receipt. The Manager continually said "We cannot reimburse you but we will replace it with a "similar or less" type of ring. That is what it states on the receipt that we gave her when she dropped it off." Long story short, after several weeks of texting my wife pics of engagement rings off their Clearance page "Do you like this one or that one?" When my wife told the the Manager that none of those rings were anywhere close to the size, clarity and color of the ring she had dropped off, she again stated that she was sorry, but that the receipt she gave her when she dropped off the ring stated clearly, that if it was lost or stolen, that they would replace it with something similar or less. She just finally accepted an small engagement ring (that she doesn't need) to get the stress & frustration over with.
The ring that my wife dropped off at Kay Jewelers had a certification card from Gemological Institute of America stating her ring had approximately 91 diamonds. The ring they replaced it with had NO certification card & only had approximately 40 small diamonds. When we went to pick up the engagement ring, they made her sign a paper stating that she would not (basically) talk bad about them or post anything on social media that may harm their reputation. I can and I'm pissed at how they handled losing her brand new...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience at Kay Jewelers in Benton, thanks to the assistant manager, Lauren.
She made the process of choosing our wedding rings so simple and enjoyable. I instantly fell in love with the first set she showed me! Lauren went above and beyond by helping us find a matching band for my fiancé in the same color gold and even worked with us to get a sale price.
She explained the lifetime ring warranty, which includes sizing and repairs, and her kindness and enthusiasm made the whole experience special. Lauren also took the time to ask about our wedding plans and congratulated us, which added the personal touch that she actually cared about our experience.
I’ve purchased many pieces of jewelry from Kay in the past, and now, including my wedding set, I know I’ll be back for more in the future. Highly recommend this location for excellent service and a memorable...
Read moreThe personnel in the store are extremely nice. However, their repair center is horrible! Dropped my wedding band off on November 18th due to a lost stone in it. It was supposed to be fixed December 7th. After I didn't hear back on the 7th, I called and found out that the repair center had lost another stone while fixing the first and was having issues sourcing a new one. Finally January 29th I get my ring back. The stones are not centered, they are not the same color as the rest and overall work is awful! My ring looks worse than when I gave it to them. I wore it with the first missing stone but refuse to wear it now because it looks like costume jewelry. I now have to find someone that cannot only fix a missing stone but fix where they added gold and shouldn't have.
As originally stated, the sales people are great, but do not trust their...
