This is a long one so prepare yourselves.
Let's start with the time. There was a line of about 15-20 people when we arrived. After about 20 minutes we made it to the cashier to order and he told us there was a "hold on orders" for a few minutes. I'm not sure what that even means. I've never seen that anywhere else. I understand if there is a wait. Just take our order and say it will be a little while.
After about 5 minutes we ordered and moved to the side to wait for our 4 cookies. We see the couple behind us get their dozen, then the people behind them get their 6 pack. Several to-go orders went out the door and after waiting about 10-12 minutes we got ours.
And now it gets worse. We tried the chocolate chip,.caramel pumpkin, cosmic brownie, and cookie dough. There is essentially 0 flavor in any of them but I'll elaborate on each.
I started with the chocolate chip. I think there were maybe 5 chocolate chips in the entire cookie. All you could taste was dough.
The cosmic brownie was slightly better flavor wise but still not good.
The cookie dough was the best of the 3 I tried, but maybe it's because it was served cool. I'm not sure why specifically.
By this point I gave up but my wife tried the caramel pumpkin. She said it was flavorless as well and she said she could barely taste any pumpkin. There was no caramel taste to be had on that one at all.
I've attached a picture. I have never in my life found a cookie so bad I couldn't finish. You can see in the picture how much was eaten from each and none were finished. Any WalMart or grocery store has a better bakery. Even the premade chocolate chip cookies in a tube that you bake are infinitely better. I'm not sure why anyone would wait in line so long and then pay $13 for 4 cookies. I wouldn't go back if someone paid me. I wish I could leave 0 stars.
I will give credit to the employees. They all seemed to be working very hard and as fast...
Read moreThe line was out the door at 9:30 when we arrived: initial thought, "These must be some amazing cookies!" The atmosphere did not give off "good cookie" vibes (bright white walls and digital menu, pop music playing, nobody smiled or greeted anyone upon entering the store). The menu only displayed around 10 types of cookies and 5 or so choices of ice cream. We chose our 2 cookies and 1 flavor of ice cream...over $15😐. We asked for a spoon, but the girl behind the counter informed us that they were "out of spoons." After asking for and receiving a fork, we were on our way. The first cookie...a sugar cookie with enough frosting to send one into a diabetic coma. It looked beautiful. That's it. This cookie was so crumbly that it was like eating a kinetic sand cookie, and the flavor was like eating flour and sugar mixed together: pressed into a cookie shape. 2nd cookie. The chocolate caramel cookie (or I called it "the Dookie one" because it looked like a cow pie). This was a much more dense cookie with a dark chocolate flavor. The caramel on top did nothing for the sweetness, and the overload of cocoa powder overtook the flavor of the cookie. Still, not impressed. The ice cream we got was the peanut brittle flavor...probably the best thing we ordered. Flavor of the peanut brittle was great; the ice cream itself had a frozen yogurt taste, a bit tangy. All-in-all: this is like the Hurts Donut of cookie places. It's a gimmick where they are going to charge you for the exclusiveness of the name. The cookie is not worth the price,...
Read moreWe found Crumbl Cookies Bentonville completely on accident! We were grabbing dinner to go at a neighboring restaurant, and my husband spotted The word “cookie”. He then proceeded to drag me across the parking lot, despite my pleas that I was eating healthy! (Possibly an exaggeration.)
Walking into the store, I was completely in awe. This place is totally unique. If Steve Jobs or Bill Gates were to create a cookie bakery, I imagine Crumbl would be what they would imagine! They use the latest technology to offer an extraordinary customer experience. The customer experience is super cool, but make no mistake, the cookies are what will hook you. They are without a shadow of a doubt, the best cookies I have ever had!
At first glance at the menu, you may think they are pricey. Once you have a cookie in hand, you will realize that one of these cookies =‘s 2-3 cookies at any other bakery in this area and Crumbl Cookies are far superior! You can get a 12 pack of cookies for $30.98, which is a little more than $2.50 a piece!
We have now tried 6 different cookies at Crumbl Cookies - Churro, Butterfinger, Circus Animal, Cornbread, Chocolate Chip, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. Each one if the best one of that flavor we have ever had! And we honestly can’t wait to try more!
So glad you came to Bentonville...
