Today I got the BLT-A for lunch and to say it was amazing is an understatement. The bread was perfectly toasted, the bacon crisp but not burnt and the avocado and tomato tasted miraculously in season for it being the end of December. The woman who took our order was really friendly and patient, she double-checked to make sure our order was correct. While the decor and seating could perhaps use some updating, it is a comfortable spot and easy to find a seat. We asked for some extra dipping sauce for my daughter's pretzel bites and they brought it out right away. And even though it is a place where you order up front and they bring your food out, there is always staff nearby offering to clear the table when you are done eating or get refills on your drinks. Everyone was honestly exceptional, and we had a great lunch. I don't know if I will ever order anything else there, because the BLT-A was so dang good, but I imagine you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Read moreBeen to Mcallisters Deli in AZ and TX. This time I placed a delivery order in Bentonville AR. I ordered the cranberry club, soup, Harvest Salad, cake and beverage. I got the soup, the wrong salad , cake and the club. No beverage. I called Mcallisters. I was told I had to call the delivery people in order to have them pick up a replacement. More of my time. Unfortunately, they sent me the same glob of chicken salad AGAIN instead of the Harvest Salad So I received the wrong salad TWICE although I did get the tea. When someone places an order that costs $48 including $5 tip (automatic), a delivery charge and some additional $1 charge, one would think they would at least get it right the second time. I do not think it unreasonable to expect to receive what is ordered. I do not think it is unreasonable to expect the replacement to be correct. I was only reminded because I so quickly dismissed them as an option for months. Arrived 1 full hour before close. Advised we were dine in. We were told the dining room closes in 20 minutes, so if we chose to eat in we would be rushed. Laughed because there is not drive through option. Our nachos were covered in cold meat/tomato/cheese substance that was completely inedible. Told the people at the register and they were quick to remind us they closed on 9 minutes (still 41 minutes to actual store closing) and did nothing about our disgusting nachos. Both of our meals were cold, soggy bread for our sandwiches. Pitiful. We used to go to our local restaurant 2-3 times per month. We haven't been back in over 6 months. Your staff is lazy.
