Absolutely some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten! My wife and I went to Senior Shreddy's on Sunday, April 7, it is a food trailer in the courtyard of the Bentonville Brewery, and the food was fantastic. The outdoor courtyard at the Brewery is a wonderful location and the atmosphere with the lighting, picnic tables, games, dog-friendly environment, is so warm and inviting. We had been to the courtyard on a previous visit to Bentonville and Senior Shreddy's was not open that time but this time we were so happy to see it open. We love Mexican food and being from Kansas City we have many very good Mexican restaurants in our area, but my wife and I agreed that Senior Shreddy's may be the best we have every had. We shared a pulled pork burrito, with an incredibly queso sauce, and three two tacos - a carnitas and a chicken pastor, and it was more than enough for the two of us and the quality and taste were so fantastic. We weren't sure what to order and the man at the window was so helpful and patient, and one of the cooks held up a plate showing us the size of a burrito and we knew that one of those and a couple of tacos would be great. We ordered and paid, took our beeper to an open table nearby, and a short time later we were buzzed to come pick up our delicious feast. From our first bites we looked at each other in amazement that we had found something very special. If you are in or near Bentonville, and have a taste for some of the best Mexican food you have every had, make your way to the Bentonville Brewery and check out the Senior Shreddy's food trailer. The prices were really good, and the food was extraordinary. We have found that Bentonville is a favorite place and Senior Shreddy's as added to our reasons to visit. ...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Señor Shreddy in Bentonville, Arkansas, and it was a fantastic experience. This food truck, with its open dining setup, offers a vibrant and casual atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment.
I ordered the street-style chicken tacos, veggie quesadilla, and loaded fries without meat, and everything was absolutely delicious. The street-style chicken tacos were perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The balance of spices was just right, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The veggie quesadilla was another standout, with fresh vegetables and gooey cheese that melted in my mouth. The loaded fries, even without meat, were a delightful treat, topped with flavorful spices and toppings that made them irresistibly tasty.
The food at Señor Shreddy is truly top-notch. Every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, ensuring a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The spice levels were spot on, adding just the right amount of kick without overpowering the dishes.
The open dining area next to the food truck creates a relaxed and enjoyable environment. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal outdoors, especially on a nice day. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall positive dining experience.
In summary, Señor Shreddy in Bentonville serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The quality of the food, the perfect blend of spices, and the excellent service make it a standout choice. The open dining setup and food truck atmosphere add a unique and enjoyable touch. I will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious...
Read moreHere’s a breakdown of the items we ordered:
Asada Fries: Unfortunately, these didn’t meet our expectations. The fries were hard, almost as if they’d been sitting out too long, and there wasn’t much meat to balance out the dish.
Mulitas: While the price of $3 seemed fair, the portion size was quite small. The chicken al pastor, which should be packed with flavor, was surprisingly bland.
Torta: This was the most disappointing item. The refried beans completely overpowered the sandwich, and instead of the traditional lettuce, they used spinach, which didn’t feel authentic at all. While the option to add jalapeño crema was a nice touch, it felt like they were trying too hard to put a twist on a classic dish. For a torta, I’d prefer something more traditional and balanced.
Overall, it seems like Fuel is aiming for a unique take on Mexican food, but it misses the mark in execution. If they focused more on authenticity and quality, it could be a much...
