I recently just went to a Starbucks and I was overcharged. I got a white lightening which I always get charged as 3.55 I got charged 7$ for a coffee that I get. I brought it up to the cashier and she got rude telling me that I was wrong and it should never be rung up as 3.55. On the app it also shows as 3.55 if I order a white lightening. I have never had a problem with this store but this cashier really ruined my morning. As a college student I have to save as much as I can, and I could have used the rest of the money to buy another drink. This ruined my Starbucks experience.
I felt the need to come back and edit my first review. It got worse. They decided to put tea in my sisters iced coffee instead of coffee like we wouldn’t notice. We went back to ask for a new one and they told us they were out so we had to wait. While we watched 10 people get their iced coffees before us for 30 minutes, they finally came back and gave us our coffee. I also got a cold brew and they said they were out so I got water down iced coffee. I watched people get cold brew coffee and they tell me they are out??? I will NEVER come back here ever. Read moreAsked the cashier to add an extra scoup of strawberries to my drink, was charged extra. This has never happened before. I asked for my iced Caramel macchiato to be sturred. I was told they can only put the shots in first, and they are unable to stir the drink apparently.
Then, the poor young man making the drinks, during this super busy time was being lectured by the manager (Blonde woman in her late 40's) because he accidentally added an extra pump of vanilla to my drink.
How she handled the situation in front of all the customers was unprofessional. I work in HR, you do not correct someone in this manner.
I told the young man things were busy and not to worry, I would drink the drink happily.
The same manager was then lecturing the staff of only two about making more coffee, while she was doing nothing and they were swamp.
Poor leadership and management all around. Corporate needs to step in and coach this...

I asked for a nitro cold brew with sugar-free vanilla and they gave me a nitro cold brew with nothing in it. Another time I wanted a nitro cold brew vanilla sweet cream with extra sugar-free pumps in it. I got sugar-free pumps with no vanilla sweet cream.
