It pains me to write negative reviews. However, the first time here, my wife asked for no mayo on her BLT. They put Mayo. Meanwhile, we're all eating. By the time they get my wife's meal out, it's time to pack up and get the kids home. We get it to go. On the way home, we notice my wife's sandwhich has no bacon. They didn't even give us any discount or anything, and offered a clearly insincere apology.
Second time there, just a few weeks ago. My dad's sandwich has mayo--he had asked for no mayo. One of our family members orders fish tacos, and they come out drenched and soggy, completely disgusting. I ordered brisket nachos. They wait until everyone's food is out before telling me that they're out of brisket. I sit there and wait until everyone is halfway through their meal before getting something else. My wife and mother ordered meals with salads. They wait around the salad bar before they can get someone's attention to alert them to the fact that there is no lettuce. They wait some more. Someone then comes out and says they are out of lettuce.
Redeeming points: The chicken fried chicken was excellent. The wings were excellent. The staff was apologetic the...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst. Should have realized there'd be a problem with the food when we saw "COOK WANTED" sign posted on window of entry door. The "hand cut" prime local beef rib eye steak may have been "hand cut", but it certainly was not a choice cut. Barely 1/2 inch thick, at best, and why it took nearly an hour to arrive at our table after ordering our meals, I have no idea. Food arrived cold to room temp even though I had ordered the steak be cooked rare. After triming the gristle and pieces of sliced bone fragments away from edible parts of the steak there was 1/2 the steak remaining to eat. The rest I took home to feed to the dog. One side of the steak had some charred something on it that flaked off. That chunk of something looked like what one might scrape off the griddle after cooking a cheese burger, or such. That chunk of something went into the pile of inedible portion set aside for the dog.
Our server was attentive and did a good job of paying attention to our needs.
The Chicken Ceasar Wrap my companion ordered looked like it was prepared well, but, there was no Ceasar dressing added...maybe it was supposed to be served...
Read moreMy parents and I had dinner here tonight and our experience was just okay. The gochujang cauliflower was tasty. My mom ordered the chicken fried chicken and she says it was good, though the vegetables and potatoes were cold. My dad was disappointed in the sear of his steak.. the menu says seared on a 500 degree grill but based on the color of the steak, it didn’t look like it. He did say it was tasty and he loved the creamy horseradish it was served with. I was caught between the fish and chips and the adult mac and cheese. I went for the Mac and cheese as I liked the sound of the cheddar-brie cheese sauce. To my unfortunate surprise, the pasta was not cavatappi as the menu described, instead it was linguine. I wish it would have been communicated that the pasta noodles were not the ones advertised- I would have chose something else. The flavor was good but linguine is not the type of noodle that should be used for that dish. Overall the food was tasty, just wish there was more truth in the menu descriptions- or at least some communication from the staff of the...
