I visited Bojangles for the first time in at least 15 years. I went specifically to try the BoBerry Sausage biscuit, but I also decided to get some other breakfast items because of the long wait.
The lobby was closed (at 9:15am), so I waited for almost 20 minutes in the drive-thru before ordering. The cashier was very friendly but clearly frustrated with the lack of help. When she handed me the order, all of my items were jammed into one bag, so it would have been difficult (and probably messy) to pull everything out to check the accuracy. I then asked for a receipt, but she said the printer wasn't working, so I asked her to repeat my order back. She correctly listed the four items I ordered, which left me feeling satisfied my order was accurate.
When I got home, three of my four items were correct, but the BoBerry Sausage biscuit was missing sausage. Again, this was the reason I decided to give Bojangles a try again after all this time. I can't call the company because I don't have a receipt, and I wasn't going to drive back over there with my food just to wait in the drive-thru for another 20 minutes while my stomach growls.
Instead, I'm leaving this review. And I won't go back to Bojangles again, unless someone from the company responds to this review with...
Read moreAs a professional DoorDasher, I used to do pick ups there every day. But the service is terrible in there. The food is never ready, and they lock the doors! Yes, THE DOORS TO THE RESTAURANT ARE LOCKED!! 😳
If your restaurant has open for business hours, and you’re one of the only restaurants serving breakfast, why would you lock your doors to anyone?
As a delivery professional, my time is valuable. Time is money. And if I have to get out of my car and go to a locked door, and then be told to go to the drive-through, and then they take everyone in the drive-through before they service your order, why would you continue to take orders from there?
I have declined all Bojangles orders ever since it took me 15 minutes to get a simple breakfast. Clearly, there is no training going on up in there. DoorDash orders should be equally as important as or customer orders in the drive-through line. But somehow the people in there don’t get that.
I have never eaten the food, and on a positive note, smells fantastic. But as a professional delivery person, the service is so bad that they cost me money.
Thank you so much for responding! I will of course give the restaurant another chance! I appreciate the...
Read moreSaturday morning haircut means a spicy chicken biscuit from Bojangles. I have been coming to this store for many years. I noticed an unusually long line. It was moving very, very slow. I decided to stay put and when I made it to the order station (30 minutes into my wait) the employee told me that he was the ONLY one who showed up for work that day and my order would take longer and he understood if I wanted to bail out of the line. I decided if this dedicated employee was willing to run the store BY HIMSELF I am willing to wait on my food. I got to the window more than 40 minutes after getting in line and I could see him working VERY hard moving ice, cooking chicken, baking biscuits and assembling the orders. I did not see ANY ONE else in there. I commend this employee for "keeping the lights on" he was very nice. I told him if I knew what to do I would come in and help him (Long John Silver alum from 1972) I do not know what happened to cause employees not to show up, but it might have to do with the fact that Bojangles has announced they are closing all corporate stores on Monday so the employees can rest, but NOT paying them. Do right by your...
