Walk in this morning at 10, an hour before they stop serving breakfast. Errand for me and my brother. First thing I see is the manager on his phone cussing at someone over and over. So I pull out my phone because I have everything I'm about to order typed down, and I say "Alright hold on I got a couple things, this'll be breakfast" and everyone in there freaks out, starts talking a million mph and stuttering saying "OH OH UH UH WE AIN'T SERVIN BREAKFAST WE JUST HAD A BIG ORDER." Then they changed it to "oh well uh it'll be 30 minutes" and I just said "okay forget it" Walk out to my car, get on the phone to ask my brother wants instead of Taco Bell. Then the manager comes out saying "I'm sorry sir uh uh we can make you breakfast no problem what did you want" and kept talking/stuttering, repeating himself barely letting me get a word in, as I'm trying to tell him my simple order of "Two crunchwrap combos, one crunchwrap by itself, and a hashbrown on the side" before I could even finish he runs inside and starts having them make it.
I go back in, make my drinks, etc and they give me the food. I said "No jalopeno sauce right" they start freaking out yet again and the manager says "No no we don't put it on there no ways, naw nobody likes that jalopeno sauce so we don't put it on anyway. You didn't put no sauce on there right? Naw naw there's no jalopeno sauce". So I said alright and left...get home. Whatdya know, jalopeno sauce! So that's the 2nd time they lied to my face in addition to not even letting me talk.
My brother and I go back up there to get our money back, my brother is a diabetic and hadn't had his medicine so by now he's very agitated. He mentions that he's telling corporate. As we're leaving the manager follows us outside and attempts to stall us from leaving and begging us not to tell corporate the whole time. As he's arguing, freaking out talking a billion mph yet again, he tries to somehow put it on me like it's my fault because "I'm the one who ordered it" uh no. I attempted to order it and you wouldn't shut your mouth for 2 seconds so I could.
We were offered free food in the midst of the manager having a nervous breakdown, but after that, I don't want free anything from this place. I'd be too afraid that they'd spit in my food or something. Won't be back. It shouldn't have to be an ordeal to place an order, especially when I was literally THE ONLY PERSON THERE. It isn't rocket science. What happened here was uncalled for and I've got no clue why everyone behind the counter immediately freaked out just because I walked up saying I was ordering breakfast.
Oh and one more thing...incase the manager sees this. You're terrible at lying. Don't quit...
Read morewent through the drive thru at 11:30 pm tonight & ordered 3 burritos that come with cheese but requested the cheese on the side but still got charged for an extra cheese. I noticed it but It wasn’t a big deal to me so I didn’t say anything. They then asked me to donate towards something I said that I would continuing to be nice. I pull up to the window & my LARGE soda was not even close to full with barely any ice. Slightly irritated that I ordered & paid for a large but was given the amount of a size medium, but still didn’t say anything. I realized that I forgot to ask for sour cream & politely ask for some. The boy tells me that “i should’ve ordered it back at the mic” & says that he can’t give me any. I asked him if I could just pay for it now since I’m already at the window. He told me no that I would have to drive around & get back in line to order ONE cup of sour cream… I expressed to him that it made no sense for me to drive all the way around the restaurant to get exactly where I was currently at for a cup of sour cream when all he would have to do was grab me some. I was more than willing to pay for it. He shuts the window on me and doesn’t respond. At this point I’m still waiting because I was not about to drive all the way around the restaurant & sit in line again for a condiment that I simply forgot to ask for when I was ordering. After he realized that I wasn’t moving he started talking about me to the employee next to him, goes back to the kitchen, comes back with the sour cream, doesn’t even put the lid on, he aggressively hands it to me, i STILL say thank you and he slammed the window in my face. Not sure who hired this kid but he is a joke to customer service and needs to be fired...
Read moreEDIT:: I'm a regular customer. They see my face fairly often since they're close, before work. However when I send my brother on a breakfast run, and he arrived definitely before 10, this store says "We're not serving breakfast right now." My brother got me on a speakerphone call, and I hear this jerk say "Oh the reason why we said we aren't serving breakfast is because I thought you had a big order."
Order was 3 breakfast crunchwraps, two of them were combos. As Dustin was outbound, he changes his mind. Now instead of being in the drive thru where he should have been, Dustin has to go inside to wait. Seriously.
Way to stop a regular from coming!!! 8 months ago I encountered discussion about people's ethnicity in there (in other words, a lady's skin wasn't dark enough for them). Now after reading some of the other reviews talking about the same, I have no doubt that some nonsense with racism is going on at this store. Taco Bell needs to stop the discrimination before it gets them sued by the wrong person. Gotta hand it to this Taco Bell. This turned me around. I used to not like Taco Bells... service reasons. Some other Taco Bells have sorta let things go, but not this one.
Granted, what do you expect for a place like this. It was actually clean, though Bessemer restaurants generally lack service skills. It had good quality food. Good menu items. Good taste.
I'll definitely...
