Kim cut my hair a lot shorter than what I asked her to do. I asked for 1 inch to be cut and she cut 2-3+ inches without asking or telling me what she was doing. I called her to let her know the cut was too short and she tried to convince me she only cut 1/2 inch despite the pictures I sent her showing otherwise. I texted her to let her know I was unhappy with her work. Her response was

“understand me I gave you the hair cut you asked for. There are soldiers on leave that will not be with their families or small children for Christmas and you are so distraught over your hair being too short. Your hair will grow back. We have discussed this situation for the last time. Do not contact me again.”

She tried to justify the poor quality of her work by trying to use the military as reasoning for why I shouldn’t be upset about her butchering my hair. I love everything about this place! Had gone to other salons and hated the atmosphere and how I felt out of place at other salons, vs here I love going every time! Wendy does my hair and always does a great job but I know the other stylists do good jobs as well! I even had a spray tan I got for prom and had previously gone to the beach a few weeks before so it made my spray tan go a little funky Bc my skin wasn't all the way exfoliated or something and Wendy went above and beyond to let me come back and respray the area that had lost some of the color! Today was the first day I used this salon and I have nothing but rave reviews for the entire experience. I had gone in a week ago to ask if they could do a particular hair color I wanted. I spoke with Dan and he said he could so I went in today to have it done. The whole experience was wonderful. Dan did a great job. He talked me through the whole thing and when he’d finished with my hair, it was exactly what I wanted.if you are looking for a great salon, Scissors would be perfect and Dan would do a great job for you.
