My son and I came here to eat after a trip to the mall. We stood at the hostess booth for almost 10 minutes before anybody even acknowledged that we were there, several workers looked at us but did not come over. Finally a female waitress came over and just stared at us. I said we'd like to sit and eat, 2 people. All she says is "two?" .. I said yes, myself and my son (who was standing right next to me)..she grabs to menus and starts walking to a seat.. Did not give a kids menu I had to ask for one. She gets it but does not get crayons so we went up and got our own... My son is 5.. It's not like she wouldn't know if maybe he wanted an adult menu or kids...shes gets our drinks and sets them down gets her notepad out and said "what can I get you", although we were not even sitting for 5 minutes. We ordered and she asked one time if everything was ok and at that same time said I can get you boxes and gave me my check. It was clear she figured it was going to be a small check with a small tip and just wanted us out of there. I boxed our food, stacked every plate with silverware and everything in one stack so it was very simple to clean. My bill was $19.00, I tipped her $15.00. I am a server, I would NEVER treat anybody that way. Hopefully she realizes you can not judge people and you should treat everybody with respect and not with a horrible attitude and just striaght ignorance. Even worse when my son said thank you when he got his drink and then his food and she just ignored him. She really didnt deserve a dollar of a tip. You are tipped based on the service you give. And hers was the worse I've ever had. Maybe that tip will help change her attitude twords certain people who she clearly assumes will not be getting a good tip from them. Its clear she felt that way. The manager needs to pay attention to the way their customers are treated and how their employees are acting. I would have left after standing and waiting to be seated as long as we did but my son picked eat n park as where he wanted to eat so I did not want...
Read moreAs soon as my dad and I got inside the restaurant there was no hostess to be seen. There were people ahead of us in line and they hadn't seen anyone either. We waited a while and finally a hostess came. She was extremely off putting. She said to the people in front of us, "are you staying or going" rather rudely. Then it took her a long time to actually get the menus together and get them seated. This hostess was named Christina. It didn't appear that she was confused she was just acting lazy. After Christina left to seat the people in front of us a nice woman named Kathleen came quickly to seat us. She was very nice and was super quick getting us seated after we'd been waiting so long. Our waitress was the worst. Her name was Terry and her name tag said she is the server supervisor or something along the lines. She was not very friendly. She brought my food out long before my dads. I got soup for my meal and he got a salad and Terry didn't ask if we'd like our food at the same time, which waiters usually do. So I ate before my dad and once I was finished and my dad finally received his salad I asked if I could have a slice of pie. She glared at me and nodded. We had our finished dirty dishes on the table and she didn't grab them for a long time and when she finally came to grab them she almost dropped the bowl on me and didn't say a word. After my dad and I were done with our food we waited fifteen minutes for Terry to come back and bring us our check. She was nowhere to be found. When she finally came back we asked for our check and she pulled out a bunch of receipts and couldn't seem to find ours. Then right in front of us she yelled at Kathleen and took her around the corner. Terry seems to be in charge and I am shocked. Someone who can't even do their job well shouldn't be in charge of others. I have been coming to Eat N Park since I was a child and I am very sad at how...
Read moreFirst and foremost I want to say our server, CJ, was wonderful. He did and said everything right, was very likable and was running his tail off trying to stay on top of everything. Everything else however was very disappointing. We are big fans of Eat N Park, good food at a good price. Last night we visited the South Hills location and it was a disaster. The dining area was a mess, tables sat for an hour without being bussed. I know this because it took over 45 minutes for our food to come out. My husband’s super burger was old and cold, the patties were limp and the bun was hard like a hockey puck. My broccoli and Alfredo was cold... the chicken was hot but the Alfredo sauce was refrigerator cold. My son’s cheeseburger sat under the lamps for a while you could tell but it was edible. Sent My husband and my orders back and waited another 20 minutes for fresh food. They allowed my husband one plate from the salad bar to hold him over since it had already been over an hour since we sat down and still weren’t able to eat. Our son was finished with his dinner before we got to start eating ours. Luckily I ordered the salad bar as my side, but even it was not stocked well and was a mess. The ladies restroom was disgusting, the ENTIRE floor was covered in toilet tissue and the baby changing station In the ladies room looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in months. It was FILTHY. That I am attaching photos of. After all was said and done, we walked in at 7 pm, out at 9:30 pm with nothing but a not very sincere apology from the manager and a whopping 20% taken off of our check. I can promise my family will not be returning to this particular Eat N Park. Very...
