I have had a necklace break multiple times and on the 3rd timeThere was an older woman there with dark hair that was not very kind when I was telling her about how my necklace broke AGAIN. through the process, she made me feel less than worthy of shopping in that store and that i was intentally breaking the chain….yes, i wanted to drive to the mall every few weeks to drop it off and a few more to pick it up…not really! …..you know she was even complaining about the children's choir singing carols in the middle of the mall! Hey Mrs Scrooge itsChristmas time…smile a little. But then Ella stepped in!!!! she must seen the hurt in my eyes. Ella was a BLESSING! Not only did she say she was going to ask the lab to switch out the necklace she showed me some more chains and said when I come to pick the necklace up next time there will be a big sale. She even taught me a few tricks and tips on how to clean my current jewelry and keep it sparkly at home. Then she helped me pick out some chains that would fit the charms i had. She even made me a wish list in the system so when I came back we’d know what she helped me pick out. So i went to pick up my jewelry tonight and Ella was busy but told Susan what we picked out and Susan was SOOOOOO NICE! She helped me work through which chains would be best for me. She even gave me tips on how to keep my jewelry sparkly and shiny. Ella and Susan are great representatives of the Kays Family! They should receive a nice Christmas Bonus (and not a jelly of the month club) lol. Thank you for employing such helpful and amazing team members. Mrs Ba-Humbug on the other hand might need a time out, a nap… or find another job not in customer sales. Thank you...
Read moreMy fiancé purchased a ring back in December for me and we finally got time to get my ring cleaned and fitted. Turns out the rep that rang out my fiance back in December put in the incorrect ring in the system and charged him for a more expensive ring than what was actually purchased. No one called us to let us know so he has been making payments towards a ring we didn’t even buy. I had to drive over an hour one way with my newborn baby for them to do nothing for me. And then they had me do it again for a second time to actually do the “exchanges and purchase the ring I actually had. Toni the assistant manager kept interrupting me wouldn’t even let me finish talking or vent about the situation. She kept saying there’s nothing they can do and that was the end of it. I have never been treated so poorly for something that should be a memorable special moment in my life. What if the ring fit me perfect or I didn’t get it cleaned? We would have never known we were paying for a more expensive ring that wasn’t even my ring! This isn’t a missing t shirt it’s thousands of dollars worth diamond ring. If inventory was properly checked they should have called the customer the mistake was related to to make things right. Do NOT go to this location....
Read moreI will never buy anything from Kay again. I brought in a necklace that needed repaired because a diamond had fallen out. They told me it would take 2 weeks to repair. After 2 weeks, I went back to the store (you have to go in person because no one ever answers the phone if you call) and was told they had tried to fix it, but it didn't meet their quality standards and had to be sent back. Several weeks later, I went back in to check on the status and the necklace was there, but damaged beyond repair. The metal around the diamonds was completely ruined. I was told they "did the best they could." They told me my only option was to exchange the necklace for "something similar" because they no longer make that particular piece. In my opinion, I should be able to keep the ruined necklace, since it has sentimental value to me, and they should offer me a credit for something else. Not that I would even want something else from this place, but they destroyed a very special piece of jewelry and basically took no responsibility for it. This policy...
