This is kind of going off the other issue of short staffing at this location and that being a serious problem. I stopped today, a Thursday morning at about 0740hrs, to pick up my mobile order on my way home from work. Both the app and Google say that the location opens at 0630hrs but when I pulled up to the drive-thru I was told that they don't open until 0800hrs. I informed the woman who spoke to me that they're app said differently. She was very pleasant as she informed me of the opening time, but you could tell she was tired or stressed or something. My guess is that her opening staff called out and she didn't have the staff to fully open for breakfast rush until 0800hrs.
How short staffed does a location need to be to not have anyone aside from one person (presumptively... and most likely the manager at that) show up for what should be a rush? I honestly just felt bad for the woman being put in the position where she has to tell everyone rolling up to the drive thru that they aren't open, because they CAN'T be open.
If I hadn't already placed my order on the app and didn't want to go through the hassle of canceling, or was more pressed on time, I would've just left, but I just waited in the lot until they opened. Unfortunately, others that pulled up were with DoorDash and I was hearing them turned away. Not as easy for the people who ordered delivery through them to cancel but they're just going to have unexplained long waits for their food (taking almost an hour if the orders weren't canceled by the Dashers).
Like the other reviewer said, this location could use some help and extra attention. I've never had a problem with the food. But the fact that it's always the same 3 people I see working (no matter what time of day) shows that there could be a staffing problem, which is leading to other issues. If the store needs to amend its hours, then it needs to post the amended hours. I feel bad for their workers who are probably...
Read moreI just called the Bethel after my order was screwed up AGAIN! First off its not like I live across the street to fix it, I live about 4 miles away. Anyways a few weeks ago I ordered a chocolate Frosty with my meal and recieved a vanilla. Hey my fault for not checking till I got home. Last week I ordered the triple burger, when I get home and settle in to take a bite two of the patties were raw under the brown outer part. I put it in the fridge to bring it back the next day to show them. In the end I just threw it away. Today is what really ticked me off. Anyways went through the drive thru to pick up a quick dinner for me and my son. I ordered the baconator combo and double burger combo. Before I got my order I asked for straws and sweet & sour sauce. The girl in the window didn't seem happy about it but obligied. Figured I better check my order. Open the bag and see one fry on top and the other box of fries underneath. Plus the two burgers were there as well, all is good I assumed. When I get home I grab a plate for my son and reach in the bag grab his fries and put them on his plate. I then reach in to grab my fries and all that was there was a empty box they put the fries in, go figure. That's just to much in a short span of a few weeks. So I call to speak with the manager and explain my situation. Her response, yeaaahhh, that just seems to odd. So basically she was saying that I was making up a story for some fries. I said I don't want anything free from you, I don't even want what I paid for replaced, so don't make me out to be a liar. Only thing I was doing since you are the manager was informing you that your employees are doing a poor job. I love Wendy's, but that particular Wendy's will never get another cent...
Read morePathetic food quality. I’m not one to complain in fact. This is the first public complaint I’ve ever made regarding food quality. Wendy’s corporate does not offer an easy way to complain whatsoever. That is not the issue. The issue is, the raw food these trash workers hand out. I’ve worked at a Wendy’s before. Specifically the one in bethel park which I ordered from. I worked there about ten years ago… You press a button and the food comes out cooked and if it’s fresh off the grill and not held in a uhc (universal holding tray) In this case is a separate grill to hold temp. You finish cooking which takes less than thirty seconds. Not hard. I’ve never once served undercooked food anywhere I’ve worked for I am not lazy trash. The last three times I’ve ordered from here in the past two years because for some reason I keep giving them a chance. They’ve given RAW food unless it’s a Jbc. This is utterly pathetic. I wish not to look down on anyone but come on… this is sad. You press a button and have little to no expectation other than making sure the food is cooked (if ordered before the initial rest cooking method utilized by Wendy’s to assure a fresher product given the fresh never frozen beef which I contest to be true) DO BETTER WENDYS. Y’all have the best food if cooked with as little as a gram of care. DO IT. For crying out loud. I hope those reading reconsider and go to Burger King or McDonald’s for the quality of food is much better. Although I wish that was not the case for Wendy’s is superior in my opinion. I guess that is just the way here for those in bethel park… take care all thanks for...
