Cafe Alexander — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

NOTICE TO SUITE #300 -- First time coming here, and I needed an endoscopy urgently. The only reason I give this place even "one" star is because they were the only place available to get me an appointment "fast" enough. But never again am I going back.

The lady at the front desk was VERY rude. When I spoke to her, or when she spoke to "anyone" she never made eye contact while she was speaking giving instructions, she was too busy running around not caring for the patients that came in, giving off the impression as if people are bothing her, she definitely should have not been working front desk.

2ND when my name was called to the back, those ladies was rushing me as if they had fire ants biting them in their pants. They kept saying "This procedure will only take like 10 minutes". I did not want to say how I really felt because I didn't want them to hurt me, but in my head I was saying "I don't care how quick the procedure is, do not rush me!"

I didn't have time to think, or ask the proper questions I wanted to ask, even one lady didn't even leave the room while I was putting "back" on my clothes when the procedure was done!

3RD the WORSE of all, they were so much in a rush to do the procedure they did not even wait until my "whole" body felt the anesthesia, I could feel the pain, but I couldn't speak because the mouth piece was in my mouth, and my arms and legs was too weak from the anesthesia to even move, but I KNOW they could tell by my face expressions that I felt the pain.

I have no idea why I was treated this way, but I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. I will be taking legal action because this is truly...

I work right up the street from this little cafe & order lunch here at least 3-4 times per week. The two woman who own the cafe are great most of the time and always try and accommodate their customers. BUT, there is this one Hispanic woman so is absolutely HORRENDOUS and RUDE, she is always short with the customers, she has hung the phone up on me numerous times, and today would not deliver my soup because my order was .75 cent short of the delivery minimum. This business really needs to reconsider their staff because it reflects terribly on them as a whole and kindness goes a long was and this woman is lacking the basic requirements to even work customer service. Found this gem for breakfast and couldn't have been happier. Food portions were great and at a very reasonable price for LA. The food was good and the service was excellent. Only downside would be that it is located within an office building, so using the bathroom is a walk with a key to the main lobby of the office building.
